    摘要: The present invention relates to a flat panel display having integral fastening structures for holding the top and bottom chassis. The flat panel display comprises a mold frame enclosing an internal storage space and having a plurality of fastening hooks protruding outward from a side surface thereof; a bottom chassis having a plurality of first coupling openings fastened to the plurality of fastening hooks of the mold frame; and a top chassis having a fastening structure fastened to the bottom chassis, wherein the fastening structure is formed on the area where the mold frame is fastened to the bottom chassis.

    摘要: An edge type backlight assembly for an LCD includes a plurality of flexible printed circuit boards, each of which has a group of one or more LEDs mounted thereon and disposed adjacent to each other. If one of the LEDs is defective, only the board on which the defective LED is mounted needs to be replaced, thereby simplifying rework of the backlight assembly and reducing its manufacturing cost. Further, by coupling separate sources of power to the separate LED mounting boards, the amount of light emitted by separate regions of the display can be independently controlled.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a mold for producing a light guide panel and a method of manufacturing the light guide panel using the mold are presented. The mold is made by manufacturing a pattern master on which a fine pattern is formed. A side mold for forming a light-receiving surface of a light guide panel is immersed in an electrolyte containing metal ions, along with the pattern master. A voltage is applied to the electrolyte and the side mold such that the fine pattern on the pattern master is transferred to the side mold with the metal ions in the electrolyte, forming a prism pattern forming portion on the side mold. The prism pattern is formed on a light-receiving portion of the light guide panel using the side mold thus prepared. The shape accuracy and surface accuracy of the prism pattern are improved by using the presented method.
