摘要: A selecting method of light guide plate of backlight module is described. The selecting method includes the steps of: calculating a plurality of mura indexes (MI) corresponding to a plurality of mura statuses of a plurality of first light guide plate (LGP) types, respectively; defining a plurality of film structures, wherein each of the film structures corresponds to each of mura indexes for mapping the mura indexes (MI) of the first LGP types with the film structures to construct a mapping database; and selecting one of the film structures and one of the mura indexes (MI) correspondingly from the mapping database for determining a critical dot dimension (CDD) of a second LGP type of the selected film structure. The selecting method avoids the mura, speed up the research and development procedure of the backlight module, labor cost and manufacturing cost when the LGP is assembled with the film structure.

摘要: The present invention provides a light guide plate and a backlight module. The backlight module comprises the light guide plate. The light guide plate comprises a plurality of elongated microstructures disposed on the light guide plate and parallel to a light-incident surface thereof. At least one curve parameter of profiles of the elongated microstructures is altered according to a position variation in an extending direction of the elongated microstructures, so as to adjust a brightness distribution in the extending direction of the elongated microstructures. The invention can improve a luminous efficiency of the light guide plate.

摘要: The present invention provides a light guide plate and a backlight module. The backlight module comprises the light guide plate. The light guide plate comprises a plurality of elongated microstructures disposed on the light guide plate and parallel to a light-incident surface thereof. 摘要: The present invention discloses a side-light type light guide plate assembly and a backlight module, which has a light guide plate and at least one reflector sheet. The light guide plate has a lower surface, a light output surface opposite to the lower surface, and at least one light input side surface connected between the lower surface and the light output surface. The reflector sheet is correspondingly disposed on at least one side surface of the light guide plate except for the light input side surface, while a medium layer is defined between the reflector sheet and the light guide plate. The refraction index of the medium layer is smaller than or equal to 1.12. By providing the air layer and the reflector sheet, light beam emitting out of a side of the light guide plate and going back to the light guide plate can meet conditions of total reflection, so as to prevent from generating a light leakage phenomenon at edges of the light guide plate.

摘要: The present invention discloses a side-light type light guide plate assembly and a backlight module, which has a light guide plate and at least one reflector sheet. 摘要: A backlight module and a light emitting diode (LED) light bar thereof are proposed. The backlight module includes a plurality of LEDs, at least one circuit board, a heat sink, a plurality of screws, and a light guide plate (LGP). The plurality of LEDs are arranged on the at least one circuit board. A plurality of screws are arranged on the at least one circuit board and the arrangement method thereof depends on temperature distribution of the at least one circuit board. The plurality of screws are inserted between the plurality of LEDs and are arranged at an unequally distance so that temperature can be evenly distributed over the LED light bar, thereby improving image quality of display devices.

摘要: The present invention discloses an LED structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The LED structure has a housing, an LED chip and a transparent encapsulant. The housing has a recess and at least one protruded wall. The LED chip is received in the recess. The transparent encapsulant is formed by dispensing a molding compound into the recess by an adhesive dispenser. The transparent encapsulant has an edge matched with an edge of the recess to encapsulate the LED chip in the recess, and has a height smaller than that of the protruded wall. The LED chip of the LED structure of the present invention can emit light through the spherical surface of the transparent encapsulant based on a greater visual angle, and thus enhance the light extraction efficiency.
