The processor determines a main image related to a measurement of at least one of the items and updates a screen at first timing. Upon displaying the main image related to a measurement of an item other than the first item on the digital display, the processor determines that a sub image is related to measurement of the first item, synchronizes the first timing with update timing that is related to the main image, and simultaneously updates the main image and the sub image.

The control unit makes the receiver perform either one of a date and time reception process that attempts to obtain date and time information and a positioning reception process that attempt to obtain information needed to obtain the current location; and, when a prescribed input operation that affects the current region setting is received, the control unit makes the receiver perform the positioning reception process at least once in the reception operations that are performed after receiving the prescribed input operation before a prescribed location updating event that determines a current location of the electronic timepiece occurs.

Via the communication unit from an external device, the processor receives altitude information on each of altitudes obtained at intervals of a first period, at intervals of a second period that is longer than the first period, and individually receives altitude information on an altitude obtained not at intervals of the first period. In response to receiving the altitude obtained not at intervals of the first period, the processor performs positioning at the receiving timing. Based on obtainment timings of the altitudes received at intervals of the second period and an obtainment timing of the altitude received individually, the processor correlates the altitudes received at intervals of the second period and the altitude received individually with positioning results of the positioning such that the obtainment timings correspond to positioning timings of the positioning results.

    摘要: An electronic timepiece includes a first display section including a first rotatable part and a processor. In the first display section, a predetermined number of display contents being a same display content is simultaneously displayed at predetermined angle intervals in a rotation angle range of the first rotatable part, wherein the predetermined number is two or more. The first display section makes a display pattern that shows change in the display content appear the predetermined number of times cyclically according to rotation of the first rotatable part. When causing the first display section to display a first display content of first display contents included in the display pattern, the processor selects an angular position from angular positions for the first display content in the predetermined number of display patterns, and causes the first rotatable part to rotate to the selected angular position.
