摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a transfer unit forming a transfer nip portion, a fixing unit forming a fixing nip portion, and first and second belt suction conveyance units to suck a sheet onto a first belt and a second belt, respectively. The fixing nip portion is arranged at a position above the transfer nip portion. In a sheet conveyance direction, an upstream end portion of the first belt in the first belt suction conveyance unit is provided below the transfer nip portion, a downstream end portion of the first belt is provided above an upstream end portion of the second belt in the second belt suction conveyance unit, and a downstream end portion of the second belt is provided below the fixing nip portion. The first and second belts are inclined from a lower position to an upper position from upstream to downstream in the sheet conveyance direction.

摘要: A measurement apparatus includes a first conveyance path, a second conveyance path, a measuring portion, a third conveyance path and a sheet stacking portion. A sheet discharged out of an image forming apparatus is conveyed toward a downstream apparatus through the first conveyance path. The second conveyance path is branched from the first conveyance path, extended below the first conveyance path, and merged with the first conveyance path. The measuring portion is disposed on the second conveyance path. The third conveyance path is provided above the first conveyance path and is configured to convey the sheet from which a test image has been measured by the measuring portion in the second conveyance path. The sheet stacking portion is provided above the first conveyance path, and the sheet discharged out of the third conveyance path is stacked on the sheet stacking portion.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit forming images on a first sheet and a second sheet having a higher stiffness than the first sheet, a discharge rotary member pair, and a sheet supporting unit to support the first and second sheets discharged through the discharge rotary member pair. In addition, an abutment surface abuts against upstream ends of the first and second sheets supported on the sheet supporting unit, and an elevation unit moves the sheet supporting unit up and down. A control unit, in a state where no sheet is supported on the sheet supporting unit, executes a first discharge mode of controlling the elevation unit to position the sheet supporting unit at a first position before the discharge rotary member pair starts discharging the first sheet, and a second discharge mode of controlling the elevation unit to position the sheet supporting unit at a second position lower than the first position.

摘要: A sheet discharge apparatus includes a sheet stacking portion on which a sheet discharged by a discharging portion is stacked, and a control portion configured to control a moving unit such that a height position of an uppermost sheet stacked on the sheet stacking portion becomes a first height position. In a case where a sheet detection portion detects that the height position of the uppermost sheet is above a second height position, the control portion sets a sheet discharge speed of the discharging portion to a first sheet discharge speed. In a case where the sheet detection portion detects that the height position of the uppermost sheet becomes lower than the second height position, the control portion controls the sheet discharge speed to be a second sheet discharge speed faster than the first sheet discharge speed.

摘要: A first discharging portion that discharges a sheet received from one of image forming apparatus and a second discharging portion discharges a sheet received from another image forming apparatus are disposed opposite each other to stack the sheets discharged in a common processing tray. A controller controls the first and second discharging portions when the sheets are continuously discharged by the first and second discharging portions, controls a timing when the sheets are discharged by the first discharging portion and the second discharging portion to the common processing tray such that a leading edge of the sheet discharged from one of the discharging portions abuts on a sheet surface in the downstream of a discharging direction below a leading edge of the sheet discharged from the other discharging portion.

The first speed is set so as to be equal to the peripheral speed of the first roller pair. The second speed is set so as to be equal to a peripheral speed of the second roller pair in a state in which a slip of the torque limiter is not caused.
