摘要: A system and methods for automatically adjusting view angle when performing cardiac mapping and ablation are described herein. A three-dimensional (3D) map of a cardiac structure of a patient and a relative location (e.g., position and orientation) of a catheter within the cardiac structure may be displayed on a visual display device. According to an example procedure, the position and orientation of the tip of the catheter within the cardiac structure, and the current ablation target may be detected. A desired viewing angle of the ablation target may be known, determined, provided and/or learned through training sessions with the operator. The viewing angle of the 3D map of the cardiac structure may be automatically adjusted to correspond to the desired viewing angle using the known locations of the tip of the catheter and ablation target. Other details and procedures may be implemented, as described herein.

摘要: Intracardiac electrograms are recorded using a multi-electrode catheter and respective annotations established. Within a time window a pattern comprising a monotonically increasing local activation time sequence from a set of electrograms from neighboring electrodes is detected. The set is reordered and displayed for the operator.

摘要: A catheter may be adapted to map a chamber of the heart. The catheter may include a magnetic and/or ultrasound sensor for navigation. The body of the catheter may be pliable and configured to form a predetermined shape upon exiting a catheter sheath. Upon exiting the catheter sheath, the catheter body may be configured to form one or more loops, and the loops may be non-overlapping loops. In some examples, the non-overlapping loops may be concentric loops. Alternatively, the catheter body may be configured to form one or more splines. The catheter body may include an embedded electrode assembly. The electrodes of the electrode assembly may be may be arranged in one or more rows and configured to detect a wave front. The electrode assembly may also be configured to generate and activation sequence and determine a direction of an activation source. The electrode assembly may also be configured to determine the type of activation source, for example a rotational activation source, a focal activation source, and a single-wide activation source.

摘要: A system includes an electrical interface and a processor configured to receive, via the electrical interface, a signal sensed by at least one electrode in contact with tissue of a subject's heart, the signal spanning successive time periods that are each of length T1 and including multiple signal points, to calculate respective thresholds for the time periods, to select a set of points that includes, for each of the time periods, a signal point of greatest magnitude in the time period, provided that the greatest magnitude is greater than the threshold for the time period, to remove, from the set, one of any pair of the selected points that are within an interval T2 of one another, T2 being less than T1, and to generate, subsequently to the removing, an output that is based on the points remaining in the set corresponding to respective electrical activations of the tissue.

摘要: A system and method of identifying focal sources is presented. The method can comprise detecting, via sensors, electro-cardiogram (ECG) signals over time, each ECG signal detected via one of the sensors having a location in a heart and indicating electrical activity of the heart, each signal comprising at least an R wave and an S wave; creating an R-S map comprising an R-to-S ratio for each of the ECG signals, the R-to-S ratio comprising a ratio of absolute magnitude of the R wave to absolute magnitude of the S wave; identifying, for each of the ECG signals, local activation times (LATs); and correlating the R-to-S ratios for the ECG signals on the R-S map and the identified LATs and using the correlation to identify the focal sources.
