摘要: A process to produce propanol and iso-propanol (bio-propanol), a biocomponent for gasoline relates to the conversion of bio-glycerin to bio-propanol and bio-iso-propanol.
In particular, a process is related for the conversion of glycerin, in particular glycerin from renewable sources, to propanols, the process including the following steps:
(a) hydrogenating a glycerin phase with a Co—Cu—Mn—Mo based hydrogenation catalyst to give an effluent containing water and an organic mixture of more than 40 wt % of a mixture of ethanol, 1-propanol and 2-propanol and the rest being unreacted propanediols and glycerin, with traces of ethylene glycol;
(b) separating by mainly distillation the ethanol, 1-propanol and 2-propanol mixture from the other components in the effluent of step a); and (c)
optionally, recycling all or part of the unreacted propandiols and glycerin deriving from steps a) and/or b) to the hydrogenation step a).-

摘要: The present invention relates to photocurable compositions, comprising (A1) a N-vinyloxazolidinone of formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently of each other a hydrogen atom or an organic group having not more than 10 carbon atoms, (A2) optionally one, or more second reactive diluents, (B) one, or more oligomers, and (C) a photoinitiator (C), wherein the amount of component (A1) is 5 to 70% by weight based on the amount of components (A1), (A2) and (B), wherein the viscosity of said photocurable composition is in the range 10 to 3000 mPa·s, preferably 10 to 1500 mPa·s at 30° C. The compositions, from which cured three-dimensional shaped articles having balanced mechanical properties combining stiffness with high toughness can be made, are particularly suitable for the production of three-dimensional articles by stereolithography and photopolymer jetting.

摘要: Method for preparing 1-hydroxy-2-methyl-3-pentanone (I) by reacting formaldehyde with diethyl ketone in a reactor in the presence of water and a basic component at a temperature of 50 to 150° C. and a pressure of 0.2 to 10 MPa abs, in which the basic component used is a trialkylamine from the group comprising trimethylamine, N,N-dimethylethylamine, N,N-diethylmethylamine, triethylamine, N,N-dimethyl-n-propylamine, N-ethyl-N-methyl-n-propylamine, N,N-dimethylisopropylamine, N-ethyl-N-methylisopropylamine, N,N-dimethyl-n-butylamine, N,N-dimethylisobutylamine and N,N-dimethyl-sec-butylamine, and from the reaction mixture obtained, trialkylamine as low boiler and a bottom product comprising 1-hydroxy-2-methyl-3-pentanone (I) as high boiler are separated in a distillation apparatus, wherein the distillation apparatus is operated at a top pressure of 0.2 to 1 MPa abs.
