Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a construction chemical composition for the preparation of gypsum articles, said construction chemical composition comprising fine calcium sulfate and a dispersant being a polyarylether. Further the present invention is directed to a process for preparing said construction chemical composition as well as an article comprising said construction chemical composition.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a construction chemical composition comprising Portland cement, a water retention agent, a dispersing agent, and a hardening accelerator comprising calcium-silicate-hydrate, as well as a mortar composition containing said construction chemical composition. Although the composition is based on Portland cement it has a pull-off strength after 6 h meeting the DIN requirements and can therefore be used as a fast setting tile mortar.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for producing pulverulent hardening accelerators by reactive spray drying, where an aqueous phase I comprising calcium ions, and an aqueous phase II comprising sulphate ions, the molar ratio of the calcium ions to the sulphate ions being from 1/5 to 5/1, are contacted at a spray nozzle, and the phases I and II contacted with one another at the spray nozzle are sprayed in a streaming environment of drying gas. Likewise concerned are the pulverulent hardening accelerators producible by the method of the invention, and their use for accelerating the hardening of bassanite and/or anhydrite with formation of gypsum.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to construction material compositions comprising at most 55% by dry weight of Portland cement with a high early and late compressive strength. The other main components in the cement are SCMs, limestone, sulfate source and accelerator.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for producing a composition suitable as accelerator for the curing of cement, by contacting the components aa) at least one component selected from the series of hydraulic binders and/or latent hydraulic binders, and bb) at least one dispersant suitable for the dispersing of inorganic particles in water, and cc) water, the weight ratio of components aa) to cc) being between 1.5:1 and 1:70, wherein the rate ratio of components aa) to bb) is between 20:1 and 1:2. In addition, the use of the composition obtained as hardening acceleration for chemical mixtures in construction is disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a construction chemical formulation which cures rapidly and with low stress and which comprises calcium sulfate, an ettringite former, an activator, an aggregate and a polymeric binder, and also to the use of the construction chemical formulation for producing sealants, coatings, adhesives, screeds, or leveling compositions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mixture comprising at least one compound comprising an α-hydroxy-carboxylic unit, α-hydroxy-sulfonic acid unit or α-carbonyl-carboxylic unit and at least one water-soluble organic carbonate. The mixture is useful as a hydration control agent in construction chemical compositions comprising an inorganic binder.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing calcium silicate hydrate under hydrothermal conditions, wherein an organic compound is added in at least one of the process steps and wherein the organic compound has a molecular weight of 100 to 600 g/mol and from 0.02 to 0.035 functional groups per gram of the organic compound, wherein the functional groups being selected from —OH, —COOH, 'COOMa, —SO3H or —SO3Ma, or —C(═O)H, wherein M is hydrogen, a mono-, di- or trivalent metal cation, ammonium ion or an organic amine radical and a is ⅓, ½ or 1. Further the invention is directed to the calcium silicate hydrate produceable according to the process of the present invention and its use as curing accelerator for hydraulic binders.
Abstract:
A wetting agent composition may include (i) a wetting agent selected from the group consisting of anionic, cationic, nonionic wetting agents and a combination of these wetting agents, and (ii) a pulverulent carrier. A dry mixture may include such a wetting agent composition and at least one mineral binder, as may a wet mixture obtainable by mixing the dry mixture with water.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to construction chemical compositions comprising a bisulfite adduct of glyoxylic acid or a salt or mixed salt thereof and an inorganic binder. The composition is useful as a hydration control agent of the inorganic binder.
