Abstract:
An angle-shaped support member consists of a unitary element formed into a pair of legs extending normally to one another and interconnected at their adjacent ends by an outwardly extending rectangularly shaped box section. The opposite ends of the legs from the box section each have an outwardly directed flange. The flanges and walls of the box section have axially aligned openings through which bars can be fitted. The openings in the flanges and walls are offset laterally relative to one another to avoid any interference between the bars which extend through them.
Abstract:
In a dispensing device for filling boreholes with a single or multi-component adhesive, filler, sealer or primer, the material is conveyed from storage containers holding the individual components through a supply pipe and an outlet nozzle which dispenses the material directly into the borehole. By manually operating a handle lever, material is displaced out of the storage container into the supply pipe. Further, an actuating unit operated by the handle lever is connected to the outlet nozzle for telescoping it relative to the supply pipe whereby material is displaced out of the supply pipe through the outlet nozzle into the borehole.
Abstract:
A manually operable device is provided for dispensing measured amounts of a mastic-like or paste-like multi-component material. The components are supplied in separate containers and each container has an axially displaceable ejection piston. The pistons are displaced by piston rods and each piston rod can be gripped by a clamping jaw and the jaw is displaced via a manually operated lever and a stirrup. A support bearing member affords lateral support for the piston rods and the clamping jaws are pivotally mounted on the bearing member. The drive for the piston rods acts through the clamping jaw and the support bearing member so that each rod is displaced axially and does not need to be connected to the other. Due to a symmetrical arrangement of the forces acting on the support bearing member, the forces cancel one another out.
Abstract:
In a device for the melting and measured discharge of a thermoplastic adhesive, the adhesive material is melted within a melting chamber and then flows out through a discharge nozzle. The discharge nozzle contains a spring biased valve body for blocking flow out of the melting chamber until the biasing force is overcome. If the spring fails and cannot return the valve body into position to seal the melting chamber, the discharge nozzle is arranged to prevent the valve body from blocking the flow of the melted adhesive material through and out of the discharge nozzle.
Abstract:
An expansion anchor assembly for use in a borehole formed in a receiving material has a leading end and a trailing end relative to the insertion direction of the assembly into the borehole. The expansion anchor assembly includes a tie rod with an expansion cone at its leading end, an expansion sleeve through which the tie rod extends and a cone sleeve positioned around the expansion cone and between the expansion cone and the leading end of the expansion sleeve. The radially outer surfaces of the expansion cone and the cone sleeve each have a different cone angle. Due to the different once angle, when the tie rod is drawn into the expansion sleeve toward the trailing end of the assembly, the part with the smaller cone angle moves in the same direction into the expansion sleeve until it contacts a stop. Subsequently on continued inward movement of the tie rod, both the expansion cone and the cone sleeve are drawn into the leading end of the expansion sleeve and effect an increased expanding action.
Abstract:
A self-drilling rock anchor includes an anchor tube (2), a drill head (6) provided at the first end (5), an outer thread (8) provided at least in a region of the second, free end (7) of the anchor tube and an adapter (11) releasably connectable with the anchor tube (2) and having an inner thread (17) for engaging the outer thread (8) of the anchor tube (2), a screw stop (14), and a quick-intervention element (15) connectable with a rotatable chuck of a drilling tool the rock anchor is driven-in with.
Abstract:
A member (1) for insertion into a borehole (9) in a receiving material (10) has an axially extending generally cylindrical hollow body (2) closed at its leading end (4) and open at its trailing end (5) and into which a mortar mass and anchor member can be inserted. The hollow body (2) has a sieve-like mesh wall. At least one circumferentially extending strip (8) of a compressible elastic open pore material is secured on the outside surface of the hollow body (2) for cleaning the surface of the borehole while the member is inserted into the borehole.
Abstract:
A dowel, arranged to secure an article to the surface of a receiving material having a hollow space within it into which the dowel extends, is formed of an axially elongated dowel body and a flange member at one end of the dowel body. The flange member includes a flange part extending transversely outwardly of the dowel body. The dowel body is formed from a strip of material and includes an end part extending transversely of the axial direction of the dowel body with a threaded opening through the end part, and a pair of axially extending legs divided into webs and extending in the axial direction of the dowel body from the end part. Inwardly directed recesses are formed in the ends of the legs spaced from the end part. The flange member includes a sleeve-shaped projection extending generally perpendicularly of the flange part. The sleeve-shaped projection fits into the ends of the legs, and the dowel body and flange member are welded together at the locations where the recesses in the legs contact the sleeve-shaped projection on the flange member.

Abstract:
An anchor (1) comprising an anchor tube (2) and an inner tube (3) arranged in the anchor tube (2) for receiving a dispensable chemical mass (4). The anchor tube (2) has a first end (5) with a drilling head (6) and a second trailing end (7), at which a drilling machine can be coupled for rotary driving of the anchor (1). The anchor (1) further has a centering assembly with a first centering element (11) and a second centering element (21), which hold the inner tube (3) both radially and axially aligned in the anchor tube (2) by means of radial stop surfaces (17, 18) and axial stop surfaces (16, 26).
