Abstract: A method for modifying a procedure includes: accessing an instructional block library containing a set of verified instructional blocks associated with approved digital procedures performed within a facility; accessing an unverified instructional block, authored by an operator, for a new digital procedure at the facility; detecting a set of language signals in the unverified instructional block; correlating an equipment unit language signal, in the set of language signals, with an equipment unit located within the facility; correlating an action language signal, in the set of language signals, with an action prompt related to the equipment unit; identifying a verified instructional block, in the set of verified instructional blocks in the instructional block library, as analogous to the unverified instructional block in response to the verified instructional block including language signals associated with the equipment unit and the action prompt; and inserting the verified instructional block in the new digital procedure.

Abstract: A method includes: receiving a prompt from an operator to initialize a current instance of a first instructional block, in a digital procedure, at a workspace assigned to the operator within a facility; in response to detecting a risk event proximal the workspace, accessing a procedure authoring model associated with a first equipment unit proximal the workspace; correlating the risk event with an action language signal corresponding to an action prompt related to the first equipment unit; correlating the risk event with a risk language signal corresponding to a first process risk associated with execution of the first action prompt with the first equipment unit; based on the action language signal, the risk language signal, and the procedure authoring model, generating a sequence of steps predicted to resolve the risk event; and initializing a second instructional block containing the sequence of steps predicted to resolve the risk event.

Abstract: A method for predicting batch yield includes: accessing a batch range specification defining a set of batch ranges for characterizing batch output upon completion of a performed instance of a verified digital procedure; and, in response initiating an instance of the verified digital procedure detecting a set of manufacturing inputs in the verified digital procedure and receiving a set of parameters corresponding to the set of manufacturing inputs from the operator. The method also includes: identifying a batch yield of the instance of the verified digital procedure as corresponding to a target batch range in the set of batch ranges; interpreting a process change resulting in the batch yield based on the set of parameters and a target set of parameters; isolating a parameter associated with the process change; and initializing a new digital procedure characterizing the process change based on the verified digital procedure and the first parameter.

Abstract: One variation of a method for autonomously delivering supplies to operators within a facility includes, accessing an instructional block defining: a location within the facility; and a target offset distance between an autonomous cart and an operator proximal the location. The method also includes: maneuvering the autonomous cart carrying a set of materials to a position within the facility proximal the location; and accessing a video feed from an optical sensor coupled to the autonomous cart. The method further includes: extracting a set of features from the video feed; interpreting a set of objects depicted in the video feed based on the set of features; and calculating an offset distance between a first object in the video feed and the autonomous cart. The method also includes, in response to the offset distance deviating from the target offset distance, maneuvering the autonomous cart to the target offset distance.
