    摘要: A device in an adaptive channel access system may include a processor that is configured initiate access of a channel, and perform a first jammer detection on the channel. The processor is configured to, when a jamming device is detected on the channel, access the channel with a channel occupancy time set to a first duration of time. The processor is configured to, when no jamming devices are detected: access the channel with the channel occupancy time set to the second duration of time that is greater than the first duration, while accessing the channel with the channel occupancy time set to the second duration of time, perform a second jammer detection on the channel, and when the jamming device is detected, cease to access the channel prior to the expiration of the second duration of time, otherwise continue to access the channel without re-initiating access of the channel.

    摘要: A wireless power transmitting device includes a plurality of coils and respective wireless power transmitting circuitry coupled to each coil. The wireless power transmitting circuitry coupled to each coil may include an inverter and adjustable circuitry that is configured to mitigated radiated emissions in nominally passive coils in the power transmitting device. The wireless power transmitting circuitry coupled to each coil in the wireless power transmitting device may include adjustable circuitry coupled to an inverter output terminal in parallel or in series with the coil. The adjustable circuitry may have a variable capacitance that is controlled based on whether the coil is in an active or passive mode. The capacitance of the adjustable circuitry may be varied in a repeating cycle when the coil is in a passive mode. The adjustable circuitry may include one or more capacitors coupled between the inverter output terminal and ground.

    摘要: Methods and apparatuses are presented to locate a wireless communication device. A target device may be out of range of a source device for normal ranging communications according to a first radio access technology (RAT), such as ultra wideband (UWB) communications. A source device may therefore modify communications according to the first RAT, to increase the transmit power, while removing the data payload. The target device may utilize the signal strength and angle of arrival of the modified communications to guide the user to move toward the source device, e.g., until the target device is within range to perform normal ranging communications. A second RAT, such as Bluetooth, may be used to communicate between the two devices while the target device is out of range of the first RAT. For example, the target device may use the second RAT to communicate to the source device to start/stop transmitting modified communications.

    摘要: A wireless power system has a wireless power transmitting device and a wireless power receiving device. The wireless power transmitting device may include an inverter configured to drive a resonant circuit and may further include a sinusoidal pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal generator configured to generate a corresponding sinusoidal PWM control signal. The inverter may have an input that receives the sinusoidal PWM control signal. The sinusoidal PWM control signal may exhibit a plurality of different pulse widths summing to the target duty cycle of the sinusoidal PWM control signal. Operated in this way, the wireless power transmitting device exhibits reduced harmonic distortions, which mitigates undesired radiated spurious emissions.

One embodiment provides a radio frequency system, which includes a first look-up table that describes a static reference value, association between a maximum output power and a first specification level, and association between a first back off value and a second specification level, in which the first back off value is defined in relation to the static reference value and used to determine a first reduced output power; and a second look-up table that describes association between the maximum output power and a first set of operational parameters and association between the first reduced output power and a second set of operational parameters. The radio frequency system wirelessly transmits the analog electrical signal in compliance with an instructed specification level instruction by determining a desired output power based on the instructed specification level using the first look-up table and implementing operational parameters determined based on the desired output power using the second look-up table.

Then, based on feedback about a performance metric associated with the communication from the other electronic device, the electronic device may selectively increase the transmit power level for a subsequent packet. Because this selective increase in the transmit power level may increase the overall power consumption, the change in the transmit power level also may depend on one or more factors, such as a battery power level of the electronic device. However, the selective increase in the transmit power level may, in some instances, decrease the overall power consumption by reducing or eliminating retries.

    摘要: A wireless power system has a wireless power transmitting device and a wireless power receiving device.
