    Abstract: A door handle device for a vehicle includes: an antenna and a DC driving detection member capable of detecting approach or contact of a person, the antenna and the DC driving detection member being electrically connected to a drive control portion via a first connection line and a second connection line, and being connected in parallel to each other. The antenna is driven by an AC voltage supplied from the drive control portion, the first connection line and the second connection line are respectively connected to a positive DC power source and a ground, and thereby the detection member is driven by a DC voltage supplied from the drive control portion, the antenna includes a resonance capacitor and an antenna coil which are connected in series. The detection member includes a power source terminal, and a ground terminal.
