    Abstract: An audible output of a vehicle is controlled based on a variety of driving characteristics and ambient conditions. In response to receiving an indication of a triggering of an activator of a horn of a vehicle, the system determines a driving characteristic of the vehicle based on vehicle sensor data. Then, based on the driving characteristic(s) determined, and/or based on the ambient conditions, an audible output tune is automatically set for output by the vehicle. A tune and volume of the audible output selected when the driving conditions and ambient conditions indicate an emergency situation will be different from the tune and volume selected for a non-threatening situation. Also, an audible output tune may be selected to be output at a later time when the vehicle reaches a destination to signal a person at the destination that the vehicle has arrived.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for using interferential stimulation to reduce or prevent symptoms of motion sickness in a closed system. In an embodiment the systems and methods receive an acceleration data stream, calculate parameters of interferential stimulation likely to cause the sensation of acceleration within a person's vestibular system that matches the acceleration the person's eyes perceive. The systems and methods deliver the interferential stimulation and measure a resulting head movement. The systems and method then compare that movement to a predicted movement. If the movement is not as predicted, the systems and methods update the parameters and deliver a second interferential stimulation until a desired affect is reached.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of providing an immersive virtual experience in autonomous vehicles in autonomous (e.g., self-driving) mode are disclosed. A navigation path of an autonomous vehicle is determined, the navigation path including autonomous mode segments and non-autonomous mode segments. Based on at least real-time location data of the vehicle or metadata associated with the navigation path, the vehicle is determined to enter autonomous mode for an autonomous mode segment. Based on determining that the vehicle is entering autonomous mode, a virtual journey view is initiated, causing immersive content to be displayed. A motion simulated accessory is operated based on immersive content data or the current or future motion status of the vehicle. Upon determining that the vehicle will no longer operate in autonomous mode, the transparency of the display is adjusted, causing the presentation of the immersive content to fade away while a real-world environment becomes visible.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for enabling delivery of an order to a customer's vehicle travelling along a first navigational route. The customer inputs an order, and a plurality of candidate vendors and candidate delivery locations are determined. A target delivery location and target vendor are selected from among the plurality of candidate delivery locations and candidate vendors based on optimizing one or more predetermined criteria. The order is transmitted to the target vendor, and a confirmation is received. The target delivery location is then transmitted to the customer.     Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for reducing or preventing motion sickness using an animated overlay displayed over a content item and reflecting a detected acceleration. In some embodiments the systems and methods generate for display, on a device, a content item. The systems and methods determine an acceleration of the device along a vector, where the vector comprises a vector component that is normal to a plane defined by the display of the content item. The systems and methods then generate for display a graphical overlay over the display of the content item, wherein the graphical overlay is animated to appear to move in a direction defined by the vector comprising the vector component that is normal to the plane defined by the display.
