    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling content from within a virtual environment. First and second extended reality devices and at least one user device are connected to the virtual environment, each extended reality device providing a user with interactive access to the virtual environment. Display data, based on a display of the user device, is received from the user device. An interactive virtual representation of the display is generated based on the display data. Input is received from one of the users via the virtual environment. Operational instructions, based on the received input, are communicated to the user device, with the operational instructions configured to instruct the user device to perform functions based on the received input.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying content within an icon/tile associated with an executable streaming media application without launching the associated executable streaming media application are disclosed. The methods display a plurality of icons relating to streaming media applications on a home screen of a user interface. An automatic selection of one or more icons is made based on a selection criterion. Upon determining a trigger, content referenced in a manifest file is accessed and displayed within the boundaries of the selected icon. The content is selected based one or more factors. The content displayed is deep-linked to a media asset associated with the content. The manifest file is updated, and a personalized manifest file based on user consumption history and display device parameters is received. The content from the updated manifest file is played within the icon.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for engaging navigation modes based on traffic events. For example, the disclosed system receives a request for navigating a user device from a start location to a final destination. The user device optionally indicates that turn-by-turn navigational directions are to be provided from an intermediate location to the final destination. The system determines all possible routes the user device can take from the start location to the intermediate location and, in some embodiments, from the intermediate location to the final destination. Once engaged, the system monitors the user device's progress from the start location to the intermediate location without displaying turn-by-turn navigation. During which time, the system notifies the user device of any traffic events that may impact the journey. When prompted, the system provides turn-by-turn navigational directions to bypass the traffic event. Once the user device has successfully bypassed the traffic event, the system resumes monitoring the user device's progress without displaying turn-by-turn navigation. Once the user device reaches a predetermined distance from the intermediate location, the system provides turn-by-turn navigational directions from that location to the final destination.

    Abstract: The system trains a machine learning model using a loss function, with a part that penalizes overall signal loss, and a second part of the loss function that penalizes texture loss. The system computes a first neural feature of a first media frame stored by a media server using the trained machine learning model. The system causes a client device to receive a second media frame as a part of a media stream from the media server where the second frame is a modified version of the first media frame. The system causes the client to compute a second neural feature of the second media frame using the trained machine learning model, and compute a QoE metric based on the first neural feature and the second neural feature. The system receives the QoE metric, and uses it to modify at least one parameter of the media stream.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling route determination to maximize an operator's intent are described. In an example, a method includes receiving an input via a user interface, the input comprising a destination. The method also includes determining a primary goal and a secondary goal, wherein the primary goal comprises identifying a traversable route from a starting location to the destination, determining a plurality of waypoints based on the secondary goal, and determining a plurality of candidate routes based on the starting location and the destination. The method then includes identifying, from among the plurality of candidate routes, based on a number of waypoints of the plurality of waypoints positioned along each respective route of the plurality of candidate routes, a target route, and generating for navigation by a vehicle, the target route.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for only including portions of a user's environment that have been approved by a user in a video conference while excluding portions that have not been approved. This may be accomplished by a device receiving a policy identifying one or more approved objects of a scene of a video stream. The device may then generate a filtered video stream by only including portions of the scene that comprise the one or more objects that were approved by the policy in the filtered video stream. The filtered video stream may be combined with other video streams to generate a video conference that is transmitted and/or stored by one or more devices participating in the video conference.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for improving efficiency of electric vehicle charging stations by allowing multiple charging connectors from each charging port at a station, so that the connectors can be plugged into multiple vehicles at the same time, establishing a queue based on order of arrival and other factors, and automatically switching active charging among the connectors.     Abstract: Systems and methods for routing audio and/or video streams and remote rendered video layout for conference side group conversations and voice assistant providers are disclosed. During a main conference comprising a plurality of users, a request is received to create a side group conversation comprising a subgroup of the plurality of users. A voice assistant provider is invited to the side group conversation. Users in the subgroup may be granted different permissions to query or receive responses from the voice assistant. Incoming audio and video streams from each user are demultiplexed and decoded. Decoded audio streams are processed by an appropriate audio mixer of the group and voice assistant. Decoded video streams are processed and rendered based on a video grouping render policies. Processed audio streams for each group and voice assistant and/or rendered videos are encoded and routed to each user through their dedicated multiplexer.
