    摘要： The disclosed invention provides wax dispersions with an average particle size of 0.5 to 100 μm containing (a) a wax phase with a melting point above 25° C. which contains at least one oil or wax component selected from dialkyl(ene) ethers, dialkyl(ene) carbonates, dicarboxylic acids, hydroxyfatty alcohols, and mixtures thereof and at least one emulsifier, and (b) a water phase. The wax dispersions are particularly useful as a basis for cosmetic preparations and, more particularly, for impregnating and wetting utility and sanitary wipes used for personal hygiene and body care.

    摘要： The disclosed invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing at least one branched oligo-α-olefin, characterized in that the side chains at one branch point at least are ethyl, propyl or longer branched alkyl chains, the branched oligo-α-olefin being obtainable by oligomerization of a) at least one branched α-olefin containing 5 to 18 carbon atoms, b) at least one linear α-olefin containing 4 to 10 carbon atoms, c) a mixture of a branched α-olefin containing 4 to 18 carbon atoms and a linear α-olefin containing 3 to 18 carbon atoms or d) a mixture of various branched α-olefins containing 4 to 18 carbon atoms and linear α-olefins containing 3 to 18 carbon atoms in the presence of a catalyst selected from the group consisting of organic acids, cationic ion exchangers, silica gels, layer silicates, inorganic acids or Lewis-acid-based catalysts. The specific oligo-α-olefins are distinguished by particularly high spreading power, by an improved sensory impression of the final cosmetic formulation and by particularly good stability in antiperspirant/deodorant formulations.

    摘要： A cosmetic composition is provided consisting of (1) an emulsifier consisting of (a) about 0.002% to about 12% of one or more fatty alcohols, based on the cosmetic composition, (b) about 0.6% to about 19.4% of one or more ethoxylated fatty alcohols, (c) about 0.002% to about 4.0% of a component selected from the group consisting of dialkyl ethers, dialkylene ethers, dialkyl carbonates, dialkylene carbonates and mixtures thereof; and (2) one or more cosmetic components selected from the group consisting of fats, oils, waxes, humectants, hydrotropes, solubilizers, inflammation inhibitors, active principles, thickeners, plant extracts, anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, zwitterionic surfactants, cationic polymers, silicones, superfatting agents, stabilizers, biogenic agents, glycerol, preservatives, dyes, perfumes, antiperspirant actives, UV protection filters and water. In another embodiment, the emulsifier component (1) also consists of (d) about 0.002% to about 2.0% of one or more partial glycerides.
