Abstract: In the hydrocracking process in accordance with the invention, which comprises a hydrocracking section, a high pressure hot separator and a fractionation section, upstream of the fractionation section, a stripper or reboiler column type separation column is added which treats at least a portion of the heavy effluent obtained from the high pressure hot separator. All or a portion of the bottom fraction from said column, which is rich in polynuclear aromatic compounds, is purged. At least a portion of the bottom fraction obtained from the fractionation section, which is constituted by unconverted products, is recycled to the reaction section.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process and a device for separating a feedstock comprising benzene, toluene and C8+ compounds, by means of at least one “reformate” distillation column (C1), one aromatics extraction unit (P1), one para-xylene separation unit (P2), one xylene isomerization unit (P3) and one transalkylation unit (P4), the effluents of said units being separated in the following distillation columns: purification column (C6), deheptanizer (C7) and toluene column (C10), in which at least one of said distillation columns is suitable for being operated under vacuum so that: the majority of the C7− compounds are recovered in the product at the top of the distillation column operated under vacuum, and the majority of the C8+ compounds are recovered in the product at the bottom of the distillation column operated under vacuum.

Abstract: A process for hydrocracking a petroleum feedstock involves: (a) hydrocracking the feedstock to obtain a hydrocracked effluent; (b) liquid/gas separation of the effluent to obtain a gaseous effluent and a liquid effluent; (c) fractionating the liquid effluent at a pressure P1, producing a first distillate and a first residue, (d) recycling a first portion of the first residue to hydrocracking, (e) rectifying a second portion of the first residue at a pressure P2 lower than or equal to the pressure P1, to obtain a secondary distillate, a secondary residue and a vapor stream, (f) purging a portion of the secondary residue, and (g) recycling all or part of the secondary distillate to hydrocracking.
