Abstract: An image processing device with intelligent typesetting function and method thereof is provided. A processor is connected to an image capture module, a memory module and an output module respectively. A first image is acquired by the image capture module and a set of scanning position information in the memory module. A set of typesetting parameters is applied to the corresponding scanning position information. The processor continues to obtain a second side image through the image capture module and applies the set of typesetting parameters. The processor generates a typesetting image based on the set of typesetting parameters, the first side image and the second side image, and causes the output module to output the typesetting image. Through intuitive scanning procedures and intelligent and quick application of preset image typesetting methods, tedious operations are reduced, thereby improving efficiency and convenience.

Abstract: A color printer includes image forming assemblies, a contact image sensor (CIS) and a processor. The image forming assemblies generate image forming substances, which have different colors and are transfer-printed onto a belt assembly. The CIS detects the image forming substances on the belt assembly passing by the CIS to obtain a detected result. The processor electrically connected to the CIS receives the detected result and determines whether an arrangement of the image forming substances with a same color satisfies a predetermined angle of the CIS according to the detected result.

Abstract: A printing precision calibrating structure includes image forming assemblies, a transmission path and a linear image sensor. The image forming assemblies arranged in order generate image forming substances. The transmission path allows the image forming substances to pass. The linear image sensor is disposed downstream of the image forming assemblies. The image forming assemblies generate the image forming substances transmitted within the transmission path. The linear image sensor detects the image forming substances, provided by the image forming assemblies, for printing precision calibrating. A printing precision calibrating method is also provided.

Abstract: A duplex printing device and an image offset correction method thereof are provided. In the duplex printing device, a paper medium is induced to pass through an image processing device by a first path and a second path respectively, and a processor calculates, drives and performs image processing technologies. When the paper medium passes through the first path and the second path, the first side alignment image and the second side deviation image of the paper medium are respectively obtained, and position deviation information is calculated according to the first side alignment image and the second side deviation image, and the light sensing position of the image processing device is adjusted to change a transfer print starting point according to the position deviation information. Thus, during next printing, transfer print information may be located on the center position of the second side of the paper medium with any size.

Abstract: Disclosed are a shortcut copying method for a multi-function printer and a multi-function printer using the same. After a plurality of data is input by an automatic document feeder, the multi-function printer scans first data in the plurality of data and generates a first scanning image. The multi-function printer provides a control interface composed of a front-side scanning and copying option unit, a back-side scanning and copying option unit and a duplex scanning and copying option unit, and determines whether an option execution command is received based on the control interface. When the multi-function printer determines that it receives the option execution command, it continues to scan other data of the plurality of data and generate a second scanning image. Abstract: A multi-mode scanning device for scanning an original includes a background element, a first light source, a second light source and an optical module. The first light source outputs visible light to irradiate the background element and the original to generate first light and second light, respectively. The second light source outputs invisible light to irradiate a combination of the background element and the original to generate third light and fourth light, wherein the background element reflects the invisible light. The optical module receives the first to fourth light and generates sensing signals representative of visible light information and invisible light information of the original.
