Abstract: The disclosure provides a scanning device including a flatbed scanner and an ADF. The flatbed scanner includes a first body, a transparent substrate disposed on top surface of the first body, a first film disposed on top surface of the transparent substrate, and an image capturing module disposed under bottom surface of the transparent substrate. The ADF includes a second body, a backplane disposed at bottom of the second body for covering top surface of the flatbed scanner, a paper passage disposed inside the ADF, and a second film. An open portion is configured in the paper passage corresponding to top surface of the transparent substrate, and results communication between the paper passage and top surface of the transparent substrate. The second film is disposed at paper entrance of the open portion. Wherein, the first film and the second film are not overlap on top surface of the transparent substrate.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a transmission assembly and an office machine comprising the same. The transmission assembly includes a body, a first roller, a second roller, a flexible element, a third roller and a transmission element. The first roller is pivoted at a first position of the body, the second roller is pivoted at a second position of the body, one end of the flexible element connects to the body, the third roller is pivoted besides the first roller in parallel and rotates with the first roller simultaneously, and a transmission element is used to surround axes of the first roller and the second roller; wherein, the rotating directions of the first roller, the second roller, the third roller and the transmission element are the same. The present disclosure provides another office machine using the same.

Abstract: A multi-mode scanner comprises a first body, a second body and a scanning module. The first body connected to the second body has connected first and second sides. A passageway accommodating a first portion of a bent document is formed between the first and second bodies. A second portion of the bent document is connected to the first portion of the bent document and supported by a second side of the first body. The first and second bodies are configured such that a weight of the bent document makes the second portion be in flat surface contact with the second side, or makes the first portion be in flat surface contact with first side. The scanning module disposed in one or both of the first and second bodies performs an image scan operation on the first portion of the bent document in the passageway to obtain an image signal.
