Abstract: The present invention is a copolymer of a monomer mixture including about 25 to about 80 parts by mass of an alkyl (meth)acrylate, approximately 15 to approximately 50 parts by mass of a hydroxyl group-containing monomer, and approximately 5 to approximately 25 parts by mass of a macromer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of approximately 50° C. or higher. The copolymer contains substantially no acidic groups.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to membrane assemblies, electrode assemblies and membrane-electrode assemblies; and electrochemical cells and liquid flow batteries produced therefrom. The disclosure further provides methods of making the membrane assemblies, electrode assemblies and membrane-electrode assemblies. The membrane assemblies includes an ion permeable membrane and at least one transport protection layer. The electrode assemblies includes a porous electrode and a transport protection layer. The membrane-electrode assembly includes an ion permeable membrane, at least one transport protection layer and at least one porous electrode. The transport protection layer includes at least one of a woven and nonwoven non-conductive substrate comprising fiber and the water permeability @ 5 kPa of the transport protection layer is greater than or equal to about 100 ml/(cm2 min).

Abstract: A transparent pressure sensitive adhesive sheet with a front surface and a back surface, fabricated by changing the intensity of the ultraviolet light irradiation between the front surface and the back surface. The transparent pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is obtained by ultraviolet light irradiation of an ultraviolet light hardening pressure sensitive adhesive sheet that contains a (meth)acrylic copolymer, a cleavage type photoinitiator, and an ultraviolet light absorber. The amount of ultraviolet light irradiation varies between the first surface and the second surface and the adhesive force varies between the first surface and the second surface.
