    摘要: Ophthalmic lenses, coatings for ophthalmic lenses, and methods for manufacturing ophthalmic lenses are provided herein. In one exemplary embodiment, an ophthalmic lens comprising a polymeric lens has a first surface and second surface. A coating overlies the first surface. The coating comprises a polysiloxane, a polyurethane, an oligomer derived from a polysiloxane or a polyurethane, a polymer derived from a polysiloxane or a polyurethane, or a combination thereof, and a fluorinated material. The coating exhibits a water contact angle of greater than 90° as measured by a goniometer.

The present invention provides for filters that are formed by lamination, infusion and/or coating processes using filtering assemblies having a neutral color with high visible light transmission while also producing high levels of filtration in the infrared and near infrared range to provide effective protection against harmful emissions in these ranges while also producing a filter that has a color that is more pleasing and desirable to the wearer.

    摘要: Optical filters, infrared (IR) blocking assemblies, and methods for fabricating optical filters are provided herein. In an embodiment, an optical filter includes a transparent base lens having a first surface and a second surface. The optical filter includes an anti-fogging layer as an outermost layer connected to the first surface of the base lens. Further, an infrared (IR) blocking film is bonded to the second surface of the base lens. The IR blocking film includes reflective layers configured to transmit no more than about 40% of IR light.
