摘要: A method for software performance analysis and debugging in a multi-tenant database network system is provided. In at least one embodiment, sampling is achieved using configuration files of each server cluster. Knowledge of the host names of each server in the cluster enables a profiler to target a single server for each sample, thereby facilitating a round-robin sample across a clustered server environment such that a CPU's load and processing cost associated to sampling is fairly and uniformly distributed across all servers in the cluster. As a result, in at least one embodiment of the analysis and debugging tool each sample is a complete stack trace dump of each thread running on the application server at that moment in time.

摘要: The present invention provides a system and method of managing Internet browser navigation. Software code designed to interact with and control the user's Internet browser is embedded into web pages made available to remote users by a web server. Embedded software code is read by the user's Internet browser upon loading a requested web page. Embedded software code directs the browser to store one or more attributes upon the remote user's computer system. Stored attributes may then be compared to attributes embedded within subsequently requested web pages to determine if the requested web page, or a corrected web page, should be displayed.

摘要: A wheelhouse reinforcement bracket is provided for the rear wheelhouses of an automotive vehicle to increase torsional rigidity for the vehicle. The wheelhouse bracket is positioned in alignment with the location on the vehicle body where the shock absorber is located, and in alignment with the rear suspension cross member to create a structural ring formed by the wheelhouse bracket, the C-pillar and the rear suspension cross member. The wheelhouse bracket is formed with a mounting flange positionable within the inside of the U-shaped rear side rail to facilitate welding thereto instead of being welded to the top of the underbody floor structure. The mounting flange has a first portion configured to be mated against a first generally vertically extending wall of the rear side rail and a second portion configured to be mated against a generally horizontally extending wall of the rear side rail.

摘要: A method of diagnosing melanoma and/or monitoring melanoma progression, in particular for determining whether the melanoma is likely to have metastatic capabilities, in a subject includes the steps of in a test sample determining the methylation status of FABP5 wherein methylation of the gene indicates a positive diagnosis of melanoma and/or increased methylation of the gene indicates the progression of melanoma. Methods of monitoring melanoma progression may also incorporate measuring the expression levels of FABP5, with low levels of expression indicating a positive diagnosis of melanoma and/or lower levels of expression being indicative of progression of melanoma. Methods of treating melanoma in a subject comprise administering a therapeutically effective amount of a DNA methyltransferase inhibitor or a histone deacetylase inhibitor to the subject such that expression of FABP5 is increased. Microarrays for use in these diagnostic methods and compound screening methods based around monitoring methylation and/or expression of FABP5 are also envisaged.

摘要: A system and a method for scheduling disk writes for use with an application server, transactional system, or other server. The disk scheduler and method is independent of the underlying operating system and the disk hardware. This allows it to be used without porting to the various settings in which application server might be deployed. In some embodiments, a high-performance, transactional filestore is also provided to minimize the latency of small, synchronous writes to disk. The implementation uses a log-structured file system combined with disk scheduling. By relaxing the requirement that log records be physically contiguous, every modification to the disk can be scheduled.

摘要: One code address correction service. A carrier of items provides a sender of an item an address change service for an undeliverable address. The item includes a human readable address and a machine readable code. The machine readable code identifies at least the sender. The carrier scans the machine readable code to identify the sender and creates an address change record for the sender. The address change record includes the undeliverable address. The carrier then sends the address change record to the sender.
