摘要: A water processing system is provided for processing or conditioning water to be distributed to a downstream function or system. The system includes a water processor with a conditioning element disposed inside a housing between an inlet and outlet of the housing. The conditioning element includes a series of plates having apertures with sharp edges to direct the flow of water and facilitate splitting of small gas bubbles into even smaller nano-bubbles. The plates may have different configurations of apertures. Optionally, a mixer injector introduces a gas, in the form of gas bubbles, into the water flow upstream of the water processor. The injector introduces additional gas volume in the form of relatively large bubbles, which are subsequently split into smaller bubbles (including nano-bubbles) in the water processor.

摘要: An apparatus for removing contaminants from fluid is disclosed. The apparatus includes a rotating electrode assembly including an inner shaft rotatably mounted within the housing and a first rotatable planar electrode extending radially outward from the inner shaft. The apparatus also includes a first planar stationary electrode having a first opening, the first opening shaped to permit the inner shaft to pass through the first opening, the first planar stationary electrode extending parallel to the first rotatable planar electrode, wherein the first planar stationary electrode and the first rotatable planar electrode are configured to be coupled to an external source. In addition, the apparatus includes a motor assembly including a motor and a first outer shaft coupled to the inner shaft. The rotating electrode assembly is configured to be removed from the housing when the inner shaft is decoupled from the first outer shaft.

摘要: An electric-powered submersible pool cleaner includes a base, discharge conduit, and outwardly extending flange. The base includes an inlet port, and the discharge conduit extends upwardly from the base and circumscribes the inlet port and a portion of an electric-powered impeller to direct the flow of water and debris drawn through the inlet. The outwardly extending flange extends from an upper portion of the discharge conduit and secures a filter to filter debris and pass clean water back into the pool. The impeller includes one or more blades having leading and trailing edges and is set at a height such that the leading edges of the blades are positioned to extend into the discharge conduit below a lower portion of the outwardly extending flange and the trailing edges of the blades extend above the lower portion of the outwardly extending flange. A handle provides maneuverability of the cleaner.

摘要: Robotic apparatus cleans swimming pools and has road and pulley wheels with belts thereon, on opposite sides and drive motors that rotate a wheel on each side to move the frame along a pool surface. Pairs of outside wheels have friction surfaces to engage pool surfaces to also moving the frame. Forward and rearward brush assemblies are driven to brush the pool surface. Oppositely facing and angled duck bill valves allow water into free volumes in the frame and are covered by a filter bag for filtering out debris under the action of a dual pump assembly that pumps water out through a pair of outlet opening in a top of the frame. A computer processor controls the drive motors and pump assembly to move the frame along programmed paths and rechargeable batteries power the drive motors, pump assembly and computer processor.

摘要: An apparatus and method for removing contaminant species from water by electrocoagulation are described. Alternating grounded, rotating, planar circular electrodes and stationary planar electrodes function as a Tesla fluid pump when placed in contact with the contaminated water, causing the water to flow between the rotating and stationary electrodes. An insoluble abrasive material introduced into the water removes scale from the electrodes while the water is pumped thereby. A direct electric current is caused to flow between each pair of rotating and stationary electrodes, thereby producing electrocoagulation of the contaminants in the water flowing therebetween. The electrocoagulated materials may be separated from the treated water by filtration or by permitting the treated water to stand for a chosen period.

摘要: A hand-held submersible aquarium power cleaner for cleaning debris from an aquarium, includes an elongated housing having an intake compartment and a filtering compartment therein. A nozzle is positioned at a front end of the housing and is in fluid communication with the intake compartment, wherein a selectively openable channel is provided between the intake compartment and the filter compartment. A filter is disposed in fluid communication with the filter compartment. A water pump assembly has an impeller rotatably connected to an electric motor, wherein the impeller is in fluid communication with the intake compartment. A power switch controls power to the electric motor so that rotation of the impeller draws aquarium water and debris through the nozzle and into the filtering compartment, where the debris is captured and retained by the filter and cleansed water is discharged into the aquarium.
