A positioning and clamping device or tools and/or workpieces, comprising a base body, a piston arranged such as to be displaceable in the base body, a pin which may be connected to the piston and at least one locking mechanism, for locking the positioning and clamping device relative to a tool or workpiece holder which has a complementary form to the base body. The base body has a cylinder housing for housing the piston with a clamping cone between the piston and the pin with control surfaces formed on the clamping cone and the piston, with further control surfaces on the locking mechanism, cooperating with the control surfaces of the clamping cone and the piston and the locking mechanism is arranged to be radially displaceable in the base body.

A position transducer device is provided for detecting the position of a position transmitter. The position transducer device comprises a housing extending in a longitudinal direction and a measuring sensor arranged in the housing and extending parallel to the longitudinal direction. The position transmitter is coupled to the measuring sensor in a non-contacting manner. The outer surface of the housing is designed such that it can be enclosed at least partially by a fixing receiving means for fixing the housing to an application. The housing can be rotated relative to the position transmitter in the fixing receiving means in order to enable adjustment of the distance between the measuring sensor and the position transducer.

A method for producing a PMOS transistor. A p doped substrate and an n doped trough are provided by implantation and subsequent diffusion. The transistor is insulated by means of a field oxide layer. The transistor gates are produced using a photolithographic pattern. The photoresist left from the photolithographic pattern after the gate is etched is used as the mask of the drain region at the gate-side end for at least one p.sup.- implantation. The thickness of the edge of the photoresist layer decreases towards the surface of the drain region at the gate edge. Due to this decreasing thickness, when the implant is introduced the flank (17, 19) of the implantation concentration profile (16, 18) is deflected towards the channel below the gate region.
