    摘要: A vehicle notification sound emitting apparatus is basically provided with a first sound emitting device, a second sound emitting device and a notification sound control device. The first sound emitting device emits a first intermittent notification sound inside a cabin interior of a vehicle. The second sound emitting device emits a second intermittent notification sound outside of the cabin interior of the vehicle. The notification sound control device operates the first and second sound emitting devices to separately emit the first and second intermittent notification sounds in at least a partially overlapping pattern in response to occurrence of a vehicle condition to convey a same type of vehicle information to both inside and outside of the cabin interior of the vehicle. The notification sound control device includes a cabin interior-exterior notification sound synchronizing section that is configured to synchronize the first and second intermittent notification sounds.

    摘要: A vehicle notification sound emitting apparatus is basically provided with a sound emitting device and a notification sound control device. The sound emitting device emits forward and reverse advancement notification sounds outside of a vehicle to inform a person in an area surrounding the vehicle that the vehicle will move. The notification sound control device operates the sound emitting device to selectively emit the forward and reverse movement notifications. The notification sound control device includes forward and reverse advancement notification sound emission timing sections. A start timing of the forward advancement notification sound is set in response to both a forward movement shift operation having been performed and an additional start movement preparation operation of the vehicle having been performed. A start timing of the reverse movement notification sound is set to be emitted immediately in response to the reverse movement shift operation having been performed.

    摘要: A head mechanism of a thermal printer includes a platen roller rotatably supported by a housing, and a thermal head arranged at a front end of a head bearing member the front end of which is adapted to be rotatable about a rear end supported by the housing, and arranged to face the platen roller, and is constructed such that, during recording, a sheet provided for recording is sandwiched between the platen roller and the thermal head, and an electric current is selectively applied to heat-generating elements arranged in the thermal head, thereby obtaining desired recording. The thermal head and the platen roller are arranged to form a gap with a dimension smaller than the thickness of the sheet provided for recording during non-recording.

    摘要: A line thermal printer includes a platen roller and a line thermal head including a plurality of heating elements. The heating elements are disposed to face the entire area of a recording sheet in a width direction of the recording sheet and selectively generate heat. The recording sheet is interposed between the platen roller and the line thermal head. The line thermal printer performs printing at the interposed position on the recording sheet by the selective generation of heat of the heating elements while the recording sheet is moved. The line thermal printer includes a foreign material blocking member. The foreign material blocking member is disposed upstream of the interposed position to come in contact with an upper surface of the recording sheet, and prevents foreign materials, which are placed on the upper surface of the recording sheet, from being moved toward the interposed position.

    摘要: An inexpensive, lightweight, safe bumper beam (10) has an optimum strength characteristic and is capable of effectively coping with all kinds of collisions including slight collisions and strong collisions. The bumper beam (10) is disposed on a front or rear end part of a vehicle. Joining parts of the bumper beam (10) are attached to stays (2a, 2b) attached to, for example, front end parts of longitudinal frames (1a, 1b) of a body of a vehicle so that the bumper beam (10) extends laterally. The bumper beam (10) includes a bumper beam body (3) extended laterally and having a closed section and a reinforcing beam (4) extended in and along the bumper beam body (3). The reinforcing beam (4) includes a lateral upper wall (4a), a lateral lower wall (4b) and a front wall (4c) formed integrally with the upper and the lower walls (4a, 4b) to receive a longitudinal shock exerted on the vehicle.     摘要: A thermal printer which always performs a satisfactory printing operation regardless of whether a ribbon cassette mounted for printing houses an ink ribbon for hot release mode printing or an ink ribbon for cold release mode printing. Hot release mode printing is satisfactory for printing normal printing papers, while cold release mode printing is satisfactory for printing OHP (overhead projection) papers. The printer is capable of sensing the difference between ribbon cassette having an ink ribbon for hot release mode printing and a ribbon cassette having an ink ribbon for cold release mode printing, when mounted on the printer for printing. The printer upon sensing the type of ribbon cassette mounted, then adjusts its components, if necessary, so that they are configured in locations appropriate to perform satisfactory printing according to the type of ink ribbon housed in the ribbon cassette mounted. Alternatives include moving a carriage on which the ribbon cassette is mounted toward and away from a platen against which the paper to be printed is placed, moving the location of the ribbon cassette toward or away from the platen against which the paper to be printed is placed, and moving an arm which may guide the ink ribbon after it passes the thermal head.
