Abstract:
An electric toothbrush wherein the number of revolution of a motor shaft is in match with the frequency of reciprocating motion of the brush. A motor (2) housed in a tubular case (1) is coupled to a reciprocating shaft (5) slidably extending through the forward end of the case by a scotch yoke mechanism (40) for converting one turn of rotation of the motor shaft (21) into one stroke of reciprocating pivotal movement of a pivotal body (4), and by motion conversion means (3) for converting one stroke of reciprocating movement of the pivotal body (4) into one stroke of linear reciprocating motion of the reciprocating shaft (5).
Abstract:
A sound reproducing apparatus (10) includes a slot (16) to which a memory card (18) is attached. A decoding software for decoding sound data is stored in an audio file recorded on the memory card (18). The decoding software is loaded into a RAM (22b) by a CPU (20) when it is not possible to decode the sound data by the decoding software stored on a ROM (22a). Therefore, a DSP (22) decodes sound data read from the same audio file in accordance with the decoding software loaded from the audio file.
Abstract:
A content capturing device applies to a music reproducing device. The music reproducing device has a function as an Internet radio receiver of receiving via the Internet a program provided from a radio server at a broadcast station. When a predetermined operation is performed while an arbitrary piece of music is being received by means of this function, the radio server sends music information related to the music being received and according to the operating environment of the music reproducing device, to the music reproducing device. When an operation of making a request for downloading is performed by the music reproducing device, data for storage according to the music information is downloaded from the music distribution server to the music reproducing device. Therefore, it is possible to download the data for storage on a desired piece of music to the music reproducing device in an easy manner and in a form according to the operating environment of the music reproducing device.
Abstract:
A contents reproducing apparatus includes a main CPU, and the main CPU causes a DSP to decode broadcast data included in a radio packet signal input via a LAN controller in a radio mode, and inputs decoded PCM data to a D/A converter. As a result, a sound of Internet radio is output from a speaker. On the other hand, in a telephone mode, the main CPU causes the DSP to decode receiving speech data included in a telephone packet signal input via the LAN controller, and inputs decoded PCM data to a PCM codec. The CPU causes the DSP to encode the sending speech data input from the PCM codec, and packetizes encoded data to input it to the LAN controller. Thus, it is possible to make a communication with an opponent party.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an audio player wearable around the neck which comprises vertical direction recognition sensor 2 for recognizing hanging state wherein a casing 10 is hung from the neck using a neck strap 11 and holding state wherein the casing 10 is turned upside down from said hanging state and is held in the hand, and a control circuit 3 for change-over-controlling the presentation state of the display 8 in accordance with the recognition result obtained by the vertical direction recognition sensor 2. This can avoid the problem when the display is turned upside down between the hanging state and the holding state of the casing.
Abstract:
A hard disk (530) of a personal computer has a content list file (150) and an encrypted private file (162). A license administration device (520) stores a binding key Kb in a license region (5215B) of a memory. The encrypted private file (162) can be decrypted and encrypted with the binding key Kb stored in the license administration device (520). The license of the obtained and encrypted content data is stored as private information in the encrypted private file (162). Consequently, the encrypted content data and the license distributed by software can be shifted to another data terminal device.

Abstract:
An image printing apparatus includes a digital camera for taking a picture image and a main body for printing the image. The digital camera supplies a photographic image signal to the main body. The main body takes one screen of a still image signal out of the image signal supplied. The still image signal thus taken out is returned to the digital camera where it is delivered to a built-in monitor. The monitor displays thereon a still image corresponding to the delivered still image signal. Thereafter, if a print button is manipulated, a still image being displayed on the monitor is then printed by a printer provided on the main body.
