Each of the carcass cords is composed of two strands final-twisted together. Each of the two strand is made of polyethylene terephthalate fibers first-twisted together. The polyethylene terephthalate fibers of the two strands has a linear density D of not more than 2200 dtex. The linear density D in dtex, the cord count E per 5 cm width of the carcass ply, a breaking strength S(N) of the carcass cord, and a Gurley stiffness B (mN) of the carcass cord satisfy conditional equations: E≦(−30.6 Ln D+307); B≧357/E; and s≧4161/E.

    摘要: In assembling at least one metal frame in abutting supporting relation to a diaphragm to form a diaphragm assembly for an electro-acoustic transducer, for example, as in a microphone or headphone, the diaphragm, which may be an electret, is formed at least in part of a thermoplastic resin so as to provide the latter at each surface of the diaphragm which, in the abutting supporting relation, is engaged by a surface of a metal frame, and the frame or frames and the diaphragm are pressed together in the desired abutting supporting relation while each metal frame is heated so that heat is transmitted through the latter to melt the thermoplastic resin at the engaged surfaces of the diaphragm and frame or frames, whereupon the heating of the frame or frames is halted so that the thermoplastic resin hardens to bond together the diaphragm and frame or frames in the desired abutting supporting relation.

The band cord is made of steel filaments of 0.08 to 0.20 mm diameter twisted together into a L×M×N structure. The band cord has a low tensile elastic modulus range and a high tensile elastic modulus range, wherein an inflection point between the low tensile elastic modulus range and the high tensile elastic modulus range lies between 2% elongation and 7% elongation of the cord, and a tensile force required to cause 2% elongation of the band cord is not more than 60 Newton.

    摘要: A rubber composition for tire treads comprising a rubber component consisting essentially of (A) 20 to 100% by weight of a solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber having a Mooney viscosity ML.sub.1+4 of 30 to 200 at 100.degree. C. prepared by copolymerization of styrene, butadiene and a polyvinyl aromatic compound followed by coupling with a trifunctional or tetrafunctional coupling agent, and (B) 0 to 80% by weight of at least one rubber selected from the group consisting of an emulsion-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber, a butadiene rubber, natural rubber and a synthetic polyisoprene rubber; and (C) 50 to 250 parts by weight of a carbon black having an iodine adsorption number of not less than 60 mg/g and an oil absorption of not less than 110 ml/100 g per 100 parts by weight of said rubber component; the tan .delta. peak temperature Tg of the cured product of said rubber composition being from -40.degree. to +5.degree. C. The tread rubber composition can be processed without causing bagging with a good dispersibility of carbon black and provides tires having a low rolling resistance and a high grip characteristic.

    摘要: According to a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire of the present invention using a rigid core, high-speed durability may be improved. The present invention comprises manufacturing a green tire in which the green tire is manufactured by adhering tire component members in sequence onto the rigid core. The manufacturing of the green tire comprises forming a band ply in which a band forming member is spirally wound on the rigid core to form the band ply, the band forming member being configured by a band cord, or a narrow band-shaped strip coated with a topping rubber. In the formation of the band ply, the bend forming member is heated to a temperature of above 100 deg. C. while being wound spirally with the bend forming member being extended by at not less than 0.5%.
