    摘要: A telecommunication network may operate to enable a wake up signals (WUSs) within the telecommunication network. A mobility management entity (MME) may estimate a coverage enhancement (CE) level of a user equipment (UE), determine, based on the CE level, a number of repetitions for a wake up signal (WUS) for the UE, and cause a WUS for UE to be transmitted to a radio access network (RAN) node corresponding to the UE. The RAN node may inform the MME that the RAN node has disabled the WUS feature, and may cause system information to be broadcast to UEs in IDLE mode, indicating that the WUS feature of the RAN node has been disabled. A UE may determine a paging occasion (PO) determine a maximum WUS duration, minimum offset, and start location of the WUS.

    摘要: Systems and techniques for applying an electromagnetic field to bodily tissue include a self-contained and portable electromagnetic field generating device disposed over a surface of bodily tissue such that the radiated electromagnetic fields impinge upon the bodily tissue. The device includes an electromagnetic field generator, which is coupled to an antenna that is arranged to radiate the electromagnetic field. A power source is coupled to the generator to provide power for the device and an activator is used to initiate radiation of the electromagnetic field. Methods of inducing electrical current in bodily tissues and treating disorders, such as pain-related disorders, are also disclosed.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for minimizing the size of the cache that is required to store software packages for installation on an information handling system. An analysis is conducted on the individual program files contained in a software application file. In the analysis, the software application file is disassembled into the individual program files and each of the program files is decompressed and stored in temporary file directories. Files that are common to each of the software packages are identified. After the file comparison, the method and apparatus of the present invention is used to re-group the files to generate a composite program file library that contains all of the program files needed to regenerate the software application files. This composite program file library is then stored on a cache in a factory server used to manufacture information handling systems in a build to order process.

    摘要: An electroluminescent device comprises a porous silicon region adjacent a bulk silicon region, together with a top electrical contact of transparent indium tin oxide and a bottom electrical contact of aluminium. The device includes a heavily doped region to provide an ohmic contact. The porous silicon region is fabricated by anodizing through an ion-implanted surface layer of the bulk silicon. The silicon remains unannealed between the ion-implantation and anodization stages. The device has a rectifying p-n junction within the porous silicon region.
