摘要: A vehicle drive device having an input member coupled to an internal combustion engine; an output member coupled to a wheel; a first rotating electrical machine; a second rotating electrical machine; and a differential gear unit having at least three rotating elements. A dog engagement device is provided on a power transmission path between the input member and an input rotating element. The engagement device includes a state selecting member that switches a state among three states, which are a first state where the input rotating element and the input member are coupled and the input rotating element and a non-rotating member are not coupled, a second state where the input rotating element coupled with both the input member and the non-rotating member, and a third state where the input rotating element and the non-rotating member are coupled.

摘要: A drive device includes an input shaft connected to an engine; a first rotating electrical machine and a second rotating electrical machine; a differential gear unit including a first rotating element, a second rotating element, and a third rotating element; and a control device. The first rotating electrical machine and the differential gear unit are positioned coaxially with the input shaft. The first rotating electrical machine and the second rotating electrical machine are positioned on different axes from each other so as to axially overlap each other. A first component of the control device is positioned lower than the first rotating electrical machine and positioned so that at least a part of the first component overlaps the first rotating electrical machine when viewed in a vertical top plan view.

摘要: First and second connection mechanisms electrically connect power cables extending in the same direction to first and second electric motor neighboring to each other in the extending direction of the power cables, respectively. The first connection mechanism of the first electric motor is arranged in a radially outer portion, and the second connection mechanism of the second electric motor is arranged in a space between the electric motors. Since both the connection mechanisms are located on the opposite sides of a joint surface between the first and second casings accommodating the first and second motors, respectively, the first and second connection mechanisms can be components on the first and second casing sides, respectively. This structure can prevent increase in size in a rotation axis direction, and can improve assembly workability for the motors.

摘要: A drive unit includes a rotary electric machine; an inverter used to control the rotary electric machine and a capacitor that smooths a power supply voltage of the inverter; and a case housing the rotary electric machine. A control equipment housing space structured by an inverter housing space portion that houses the inverter and a capacitor housing space portion that houses the capacitor is formed in the case on an outer side of the rotary electric machine in an axial center radial direction of the rotary electric machine. A refrigerant flow chamber through which a refrigerant flows is formed between the control equipment housing space and the rotary electric machine. A capacitor heat exchange fin that performs heat exchange between the capacitor housing space portion and the refrigerant is provided between the capacitor housing space portion and the refrigerant flow chamber.

Each of the machine chamber and the electric chamber has an opening on one axial end side of the rotating electrical machine, and a cover that covers the openings in a separated state from each other is mounted to the openings.

摘要: First and second connection mechanisms electrically connect power cables extending in the same direction to first and second electric motor neighboring to each other in the extending direction of the power cables, respectively.
