Abstract: A closure package for a vibration damper may include a base body that is connectable to a damper tube and comprises a first end and a second end. The first end forms an end side of the damper tube and the second end is disposed in the damper tube. A seal for sealing a piston rod may be disposed in the base body. A seal holder may be disposed between the seal and the base body at the first end. The seal holder for axially fixing the seal may be connected to the base body in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner. The seal holder may be fusible in an emergency. For releasing the connection to the base body, the seal holder may be thermoplastically deformable upon overheating of the vibration damper.

Abstract: A stilt part may be utilized for a suspension damper strut of the wheel suspension of a vehicle. The stilt part may comprise a shank portion extending along a longitudinal axis of the stilt part and a connecting portion adjoining an end of the shank portion. The connecting portion may be configured to connect a lower link of the wheel suspension. The shank portion may include a convex region that is bent away from the longitudinal axis. The convex region may provide clearance for a drive shaft of a wheel. Abstract: A vibration damper may include a damper tube filled at least partially with damping liquid. A piston rod is movable to and fro in the damper tube. The vibration damper may have a wedge element and a bracing element, and the piston rod may have a wedge element recess for partially receiving the wedge element. The wedge element may be arranged in the at least one wedge element recess in a braced state, and the at least one bracing element may be connected to the working piston such that the bracing element braces the working piston with respect to the piston rod via the wedge element arranged in the element recess.

Abstract: A strut bearing may help bear a strut on a vehicle body and set and adjust camber at the strut of a wheel suspension. The strut bearing may include a fixing means, a releasable clamping connection between the strut bearing and the vehicle body, a strut receiver, and an adjustment device. The adjustment device may comprise a sliding block with a guide element, a bearing plate with a guide element receiver forming a linear guide of the sliding block with the guide element together with the guide element receiver, and a clamping plate. The bearing and clamping plates and the sliding block may be arranged such that the sliding block is clamped between the bearing and clamping plates. The strut receiver may be arranged on the sliding block such that a position of the sliding block in the linear guide correlates with the setting of the camber at the strut.

Abstract: A vibration damper may include an external tube and at least one internal tube. The external and internal tubes may be disposed in a coaxial manner relative to one another. The annular gap may form a balance chamber for receiving damper oil and damper gas for preloading of the damper oil in the balance chamber. Abstract: A controllable vibration damper may include a cylinder tube with hydraulic fluid, a piston movable axially within the cylinder tube along an axis and that divides the cylinder tube into two working spaces, a piston rod parallel to the cylinder tube axis and connected at one end to the piston, fluid passages from one working space into another working space, a first valve subassembly on a first fluid passage for damping piston movement in a first direction, and a second valve subassembly on a second fluid passage for damping piston movement in a second direction. Each valve subassembly may include a valve disk seated on a valve seat in a closed position and spaced apart from the valve seat in an open position, as well as a pilot chamber containing an adjustable pressure that pushes the valve disk into the closed position. One of the pilot chambers may be delimited by a base, a cylindrical side wall fixed relative to the base and arranged coaxially with the cylinder tube axis, and a dimensionally stable cover that is held radially within the cylindrical side wall and can be moved parallel to the cylinder tube axis.
