摘要: A portable bidet can include a bidet tank that can contain a liquid for personal washing, a hand pump, a bidet hose, a control valve with a control lever, an angulated wand that includes a bend with a re-angulation, a spray nozzle, such that the portable bidet can be used by a person sitting on a toilet, such that the angulated wand protrudes downward and rearward between legs of the person, such that the bend of the angulated wand directs the spray of the liquid towards a perineal-genital-anal area of the person. The liquid can include water, and optionally soap and a hemorrhoid treatment composition.

摘要: This device is a portable, self-contained, manually operated, personal toilet hygiene device to be used externally as a portable bidet for anal and genital water-spray hygiene completion after toileting. It is a substantial modification of a two liter, plastic, manually filled and hand-pressure-pumped garden weed sprayer. Where weed sprayers are designed to spray toxic liquids AWAY from the user, this device has been modified to direct non-toxic liquids TOWARD the user; specifically, toward the anal and genital area after toileting. This device consists of a two liter, heavy walled, plastic cylindrical reservoir, a removable center-mount hand-pump, a nylon reinforced plastic hose, a hand-held hose handle with a control release lever, a plastic wand extension with 135 degree modified bend at the tip and an adjustable spray nozzle.

摘要: An absorbent paper sheet is treated with an aqueous wax dispersion such that the sheet includes a fused wax and emulsifier residue in an amount of from about 1 to about 20 weight percent of the sheet based on the combined weight of the fiber, wax residue and an emulsifier residue in the sheet. The fused wax emulsion operates to make at least one surface of the sheet laterally hydrophobic, exhibiting a moisture penetration delay of at least about 2 seconds and less than about 40 seconds as well as a typical contact angle with water at one minute of at least about 50 degrees. There is thus provided absorbent products which exhibit both absorbency and resistance to moisture penetration. The treated sheet further exhibits microbial barrier properties, impeding transfer of bacteria, for example, through the sheet. There are produced tissue products which resist moisture penetration from propelled liquids as well as sequester sorbed liquids in the interior of the tissue.

摘要: An absorbent sheet of cellulosic fibers includes a mixture of hardwood fibers and softwood fibers arranged in a reticulum having: (i) a plurality of pileated fiber enriched regions of relatively high local basis weight interconnected by way of (ii) a plurality of lower local basis weight linking regions whose fiber orientation is biased along the machine direction between pileated regions interconnected thereby, wherein the sheet exhibits a % CD stretch which is at least about 2.75 times the dry tensile ratio of the sheet. Tensile ratios of from about 0.4 to about 4 are readily achieved.

摘要: All embodiments of the present invention relate to a toothbrush to prevent tooth abrasion and gum damage during use. A first embodiment of the invention includes a handle including an open cavity and a neck interconnected to the handle by a pivot. The neck is movable between an aligned first position and a second angled position relative to the handle. A leaf spring is bonded to the end of the neck at a first end, and the second end of the leaf spring engages the handle to provide biasing resistance. The leaf spring is configured such that if pressure to the neck exceeds a threshold limit, there is movement of the neck portion from the first position to a second position. The threshold limit is the pressure just below the pressure at the brush that may cause damage to the hard and soft tissue of the mouth. A protective sheath envelops the junction between the handle member and the neck member to prevent accumulation of unwanted material within the cavity of the handle. A second embodiment is equivalent in structure and components to the first embodiment except that it also includes a manual adjustment of the biasing force of the leaf spring to provide variable pressure and a motor for providing mechanical movement of the brush head. Third and fourth embodiments are equivalent in structure and components of the first and second embodiments, respectively, except that the leaf spring is bonded to the handle instead of the neck.

摘要: A method and system for performing problem determination procedures in a hierarchically organized computer system is provided. The hardware components of the data processing system are interconnected in a manner in which the components are organized in a logical hierarchy. A hardware-related error occurs, and the error is logged into an error log file. At some point in time, a diagnostics process is initiated in response to the detection of the error. The logged error may implicate a particular hardware component, and the hardware component of the data processing system is analyzed using a problem determination procedure. In response to a determination that the hardware component does not have a problem, the logically hierarchical parent hardware component of the hardware component is selected for analysis. The logically hierarchical parent hardware component is then analyzed using a problem determination procedure. The method continues to analyze the logically hierarchical parent components until the root component is reached or until a faulty component is found.
