摘要: A mobile phone robot is able to perform multi-touch operations on a mobile phone. A fastener holds a mobile phone stationary relative to the mobile phone robot. A first robot arm subsystem controls location and timing of contact of a first stylus tip with a touchscreen of the mobile phone. A second robot arm subsystem controls location and timing of contact of a stylus tip with a touchscreen of the mobile phone. Screen mirroring technology is used to capture images displayed by the mobile phone. Control circuitry controls the first robot arm subsystem and the second robot arm subsystem. The control circuitry processes the images captured by the screen mirroring technology to detect text displayed within the image and to detect layout of the image.

摘要: A variable capacitor is disclosed. The variable capacitor includes a multi-layer ceramic capacitor member, and a capacitance varying mechanism. The multi-layer ceramic capacitor member includes one or two external electrode(s), a ceramic dielectric, and a plurality of electrode layers positioned inside the ceramic dielectric. The capacitance varying mechanism includes an electrical conductor positioned aside and approximate to the ceramic dielectric. The electrical conductor is deformable responsive to a pressure applied thereon, and an area of the electrical conductor in contact with the ceramic dielectric varies in accordance with the pressure, thus varying a capacitance value between the external electrode(s) and the electrical conductor. In general, the external electrode(s) of the multi-layer ceramic capacitor member serve(s) as fixed electrode(s) of the variable capacitor.

摘要: A fault current limiter (FCL) for limiting a fault current in a power line during a fault condition. The FCL includes a magnetic coupling circuit for monitoring current in the power line through magnetic coupling; a sensing circuit for sensing the current in the power line and providing a signal indicative of the sensed current; a control circuit receiving the signal indicative of the sensed current in the power line and determining whether the sensed current indicates that the fault condition exists; and high and low impedance paths that are connected in parallel. The high impedance path includes a discharging impedance circuit for limiting the fault current. The low impedance path includes a reactor circuit and a switching unit having an ON state for conducting current through the low impedance path and an OFF state for conducting current through the high impedance path.

摘要: A method and system for monitoring a driver is disclosed. Firstly, an inner cabin image of a vehicle's cabin is continuously captured. Next, a face detection of a driver for the inner cabin image is performed to obtain a face detection result. Next, the inner cabin image and the face detection result corresponding to the inner cabin image are stored. When the system observes that either the face of the driver is not detected or the face is not shown within a reasonable face region of at least two continuous inner cabin images according to each face detection result, the system outputs a warning signal to alert the driver. The invention determines a driving state of a driver in a cabin with a method of analyzing a position of a face or a head and using an image extractor having large capture range and a low resolution.
