A vertical and a horizontal vacuum sublimation apparatus with high efficiency and processes thereof are provided, especially for the materials having high melting point and low vapor pressure. The vertical sublimation purification apparatus comprises a sublimation channel body, a material rack, a heating evaporation device, a condensation device, an incubating device and a product scratching device. The horizontal sublimation purification apparatus comprises a sublimation channel body, a material carrier, a heating evaporation device and two end pipes. The apparatuses of the present invention can be applied on high purity chemicals from mass production, and are capable of sublimating and purifying OLED illumination layer materials including ALq3, NPB and CuPc, which have high melting temperature and low vapor pressure.

A method for fabricating a high specific surface area mesoporous alumina is disclosed, which includes the following steps: (a) providing a water solution containing an aluminum salt and a fluoro-surfactant; (b) adding concentrated hydrochloric acid to adjust the PH value of the solution to about 6.0 to 8.0; (c) aging the solution at 70° C. to 110° C. for 12 to 20 hours; (d) washing the precipitate with water; (e) washing the precipitate with an organic solvent; (f) drying the precipitate; and (g) sintering the precipitate in a furnace of 500° C. to 1000° C.

The present invention discloses a phenanthrene derivative having the following structure: wherein Ar1 and Ar2 independently are phenyl, nathphyl, heterocyclic group, polycyclic aromatic or polycyclic heterocyclic group with at least one conjugated substituent. The conjugated substituent can be an electron withdrawing group or electron donating group. The phenanthrene derivatives have semiconductor properties of electron transfer, electroluminescence (EL), and photoluminescence (PL). Intermolecular stacking can be avoided and electron-luminescent emission stability is enhanced when the derivatives are applied as a light-emitting material in organic EL devices due to the presence of the two stereo cyclopentane rings, such as a host compound or a dopant emitting blue light.

The phosphor of the disclosure has a large excitation bandwidth (140-470 nm).
