摘要: A double shaft breaker for use in breaking plastic wastes and wastes of metal cans so that the materials can be used again. The double shaft breaker comprises two driving shafts supported rotatably in parallel with each other in apparatus frames, a plurality of shredding large cutters fixed to each of said driving shafts with a prescribed interval between the shredding large cutters, said shredding large cutters on the right and left being opposed to each other or being apart from each other, the rotational angle of said shredding large cutters on the right being the same as that of said shredding large cutters on the left or said shredding large cutters on the right being meshed with said shredding large cutters on the left, or the sides of the shredding large cutters on the right being slidably engaged with the sides of said shredding large cutters on the left, a pair of breaking small cutters fixed between the shredding large cutters with a prescribed interval between the shredding small cutters, stationary blades located between the pair of the breaking small cutters, a pair of guide plates located between said shredding large cutters and the apparatus frame, drop preventive covers located along the rotational radius of said pair of shredding large cutters, and a driving apparatus for rotating the driving shafts in such directions that objects to be broken may be broken by the edges of said breaking small cutters and the edges of the stationary blades.

摘要: A plastic drying apparatus that uses microwave heating as means of heating a plastic thereby allowing the surface as well as the inside of particles of the plastic to be heated simultaneously and therefore can attain to bring the plastic to a highly dried state within a short period of time. A certain amount of a plastic is fed into a plastic drying tank. While the plastic is stirred, the plastic is heated and dried uniformly by microwaves generated by a microwave generating unit. The humidity is measured by a humidity measuring sensor and the plastic is highly dried automatically. Dried air nozzles are provided to the wall surface of the plastic drying tank for discharging air in a super-dried state in a widely flared manner so as to prevent the plastic powder, etc. from adhering.

摘要: A method of and apparatus for effectively drying pelletized or powdered plastic material by irradiation of the plastic material by microwaves while agitating it in a rotating drum that provides for sealing against leakage of plastic material or microwaves and provides means for exhausting moisture laden air therefrom. The combination of radiation by microwaves, even agitation by the rotating drum, and exhaustion of moisture driven from the plastic material provides a method of effectively drying plastic material uniformly, efficiently, and to a state of sufficient dryness for proper molding.

摘要: An improved hopper drier for drying granular material of synthetic resin to supply it to a molding machine. The hopper drier includes two dehumidifying columns which are arranged such that dry air dehumidified in one of the dehumidifying columns at a lower temperature is delivered to a heating pipe spirally wound round the heating column disposed adjacent to the hopper drier housing. After air is preheated in the heating pipe, it is mixed with waste air coming from the hopper drier housing and the mixture is then heated in the heating column. While the one dehumidifying column is operated under normal working conditions, the other dehumidifying column is supplied with a part of the dehumidified air flowing from the one dehumidifying column so as to dry dehumidifying material held in the other dehumidifying column. When it is detected that the one dehumidifying column has reduced dehumidifying capability, a shifting operation is carried out immediately so that air dehumidified in the other dehumidifying column is delivered to the heating pipe.

摘要: A crushing apparatus for crushing synthetic resin molded products as wastes into the form of pellets. This crushing apparatus comprises a housing formed at top with a hopper into which pieces of molded products are discharged and at bottom with a dropping opening through which finely crushed material drop, and a driving shaft rotatably mounted on the middle of said housing. On the driving shaft are mounted rotating blade for rough crushing for roughly crushing the pieces of molded products and rotating blades for fine crushing for finely crushing the same, said both rotating blades being coaxially mounted. The lower portion of the rotating blades for rough crushing is covered with a cover member so that roughly crushed pieces may be repeatedly crushed without dropping into the dropping opening. If the pieces of molded products charged through the hopper have their size caught by the rotating blades for fine crushing, they are crushed into the form of pellets by the rotating blades for fine crushing. Pieces not caught by the rotating blades for fine crushing having their size not caught by the rotating blades for fine crushing are crushed by the rotating blades for rough crushing into the size caught by the rotating blades for fine crushing.
