Abstract:
A hub-side leading edge part of a fan first-stage rotating blade 10 for taking an air thereinto more extends in a forward direction of an engine than a tip-side leading edge part and a mid-span leading edge part. The hub side of the fan first-stage rotating blade 10 is integrally connected as one with the tip side and the mid span while having a longer chord length than those of the tip side and the mid span. A radius at a root of the hub-side leading edge part is set in a boss ratio of 0 to 0.4.
Abstract:
A power converter is preferably mounted in a vehicle. The converter has a power converting unit including an electrical switching element electrically switched on and off selectively in response to a duty ratio of PWM (pulse-width modulation) signal given to the switching element. The converter further has a controller including a drive unit that generates the PWM signal, in addition to a controlling unit and a limiting unit. The controlling unit controls the duty ratio of the PWM signal such that a voltage inputted to the power converter is converted to a voltage to be outputted depending on the duty ratio. The limiting unit limits at least one of a time change amount of the duty ratio of the PWM signal and a maximum duty ratio of the PWM signal.
Abstract:
An apparatus that controls a DC-DC converter including a switching element of which duty ratio is controlled by the apparatus to regulate the output voltage includes: acquiring device for acquiring the input voltage; converting device for converting the input voltage to a modulated signal representing the input voltage; first limiting section for limiting the duty ratio of the switching element in response to the input voltage represented by the modulated signal; first determining section for determining whether or not the modulated signal is in abnormal condition; and enabling section for enabling the DC-DC converter to continue to convert the input voltage to the output voltage when the determining section determines the abnormal condition. The enabling section includes second limiting section for limiting the duty ratio of the switching element, the second limiting section limits the duty ratio of the switching element when the determining section determines the abnormal condition.

Further, the fan first-stage moving blade and the spinner are integrally coupled, and the spiral blade and the fan first-stage moving blade are formed such that blade surfaces are smoothly connected.
Abstract:
A switching device 30 and a related operating method are disclosed for generate a train of drive pulses under a basic pattern for a repetition cycle time T. The train of drive pulses has leading edges shifted from basic time periods T1 by shift amounts Φ0 to Φ02, respectively, which are different from each other, whereby switching frequencies, occurring based on the leading edges of the drive pulses, are spread. A spread frequency, which is a inverse number of the cycle time T of the basic pattern, is set to be higher than an audible frequency.
Abstract:
In a blade row of an axial flow type compressor in which a rotor blade row and a stator blade row are alternately arranged in an axial direction, the stator blade row 10 is formed by plural main stator blades 12 and plural sub-stator blades 14. Each main stator blade 12 is formed by a basic blade portion 12a which has the same shape as that of each sub-stator blade and a forward blade portion 12b which extends to the upstream side of the basic blade portion. The basic blade portion 12a are located at the same position in an axial direction. The forward blade portion 12b forms a forward stator blade row which has a circumferential interval larger than that of the basic stator blade row in the vicinity of at least a radial inner end.

Abstract:
A communication device includes a base unit and a handset. The base unit includes a first communication unit, an authentication data storing unit, and an authentication data transmitting unit. The first communication unit is configured to communicate with an external device by using a communication service subject to setting authentication data into the communication service. The authentication data storing unit stores the authentication data. The authentication data transmitting unit transmits the authentication data to the handset. The handset include a second communication unit, an authentication data receiving unit, and a setting unit. The second communication unit is configured to communicate with the external device by using the communication service subject to setting authentication data into the communication service. The authentication data receiving unit receives the authentication data transmitted from the authentication data transmitting unit. The setting unit sets the authentication data received by the authentication data receiving unit into the communication service when the second communication unit attempts to communicate with the external device by using the communication service.
Abstract:
A switching device comprises a switching element, a setting member, and a control member. The switching element turns on/off in response to a drive signal, so as to control a controlled variable of a controlled system to a desired amount. The setting member sets the drive signal on the basis of both a desired duty to control the controlled variable, wherein the drive signal is set by repeating a basic pattern consisting of a plurality of intervals which are decided to remove overlaps, in a frequency spectrum, between or among switching frequencies produced based on an interval between start timings of the on operations and an interval between start timings of the off operations. The control member variably controls the switching element based on the drive signal.
Abstract:
In a DC-to-DC converter which can convert DC power supplied to a first voltage system circuit, having first and second switching elements, to DC power at a boosted voltage, produced from a second voltage system circuit having third and fourth switching elements, with conversion performed based on control of a switching sequence of the switching elements, the sequence is designed such that switch-off of each of the first and second switching elements occurs only when the current flowing in the switching element is close to zero, thereby suppressing occurrence of voltage surges at switch-off.
