Abstract:
Files related to shipping transactions are received from participants. Each of the files are processed in a first stage of a multi-stage process that includes attempting to translate the files to generate a translated file and storing an error status for each file in which the translation experienced an error. For those files that are successfully translated, they are processed in subsequent stage(s) including applying application rule(s) to those files and storing an error status for those translated files resulting in an error. A participant may view a summary of those translated files that are associated with an error status. The participant may further view details of an error to be displayed and retrieve the underlying file. The participant may edit the file to correct the issue and republish the modified file to be reprocessed in the stage of the multi-stage process that identified the error.
Abstract:
A modular trivet arrangement includes trivet members including a first bar, a first footing at a first end of the first bar, a second footing at the second end of the first bar, and one or more transverse bars, each transverse bar being transverse to the first bar and intersecting therewith, the second bar having a third footing at a first end of the second bar and a fourth footing at the second end of the second bar. The intersection between the first and second bars can support a cooking utensil. The modular trivet members include one or more engaging slots adapted to enable engagement with a cooperating modular trivet member.
Abstract:
A spoke synchronization technique allowing for lamp-pulsing synchronizes a spoke based on sub-arrays of a spatial light modulator. The lamp pulsing occurs during the spoke synchronization; and the lamp pulse for pulsing the lamp spans substantially across the entire spoke synchronization time period.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of remotely uploading recordings of live events to a broadcast station that includes: a) recording live events at remote locations using a plurality of electronic news gathering (ENG) units, each of the live events being recorded by one of the ENG units as a signal; b) each of the ENG units encoding the signal into a data stream; c) assigning a priority level to each of the data streams; d) transmitting the data streams of the ENG units to the broadcast station through at least one base station, wherein the transmission of the data streams is prioritized based on the assigned priority levels; and e) receiving and decoding the data streams at the broadcast station.
Abstract:
A plurality of icons on a touch-sensitive display are displayed. A respective icon in the plurality of icons corresponds to at least one symbol. One or more recommended words are displayed. The one or more recommended words are in accordance with a user history. The one or more recommended words are displayed prior to detecting any contacts by a user corresponding to symbol selection by the user in a current application session. A contact by the user with the touch-sensitive display is detected. The contact includes a gesture. A respective recommended word corresponding to the gesture is selected.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a barbecue (100) having an outer cabinet (1) which is adapted to fit into a bench top via hole in said bench, said cabinet (1) having an upper periphery adapted to engage an upper surface of said bench, said barbecue including along at least a portion of one side a trough (26) which extends downwardly from said upper periphery, said barbecue (100) having a wall (8) separating said trough (26) from a combustion chamber (2.2) wherein there is located at least one burner (2), whereby said wall (8) includes a viewing panel (8.3, 8.4) so that an operator standing close to said one side can view flame on said burner (2) through said trough (26) and said panel (8.3, 8.4). The present invention also provides a lid (200), a hotplate or griddle (12) and a grease collection system with a removable grease collector (11) which extends along at least a part of a forward edge of the hotplate (12) or grille (1325) so as to receive grease or liquid or other substances therefrom. The present invention also provides a grille assembly (1325) comprising an upper (25) and a lower grid (13) and a drop-in bench barbecue (100).
Abstract:
An apparatus in an example comprises an onboard controller and a flight recorder application. The onboard controller is onboard a vehicle and comprises an onboard operating system (OS). The flight recorder application is executable onboard the vehicle by the onboard operating system.
Abstract:
The subject invention pertains to a method and apparatus for enhanced multiple coil imaging. The subject invention is advantageous for use in imaging devices, such as MRIs where multiple images can be combined to form a single composite image. In one specific embodiment, the subject method and apparatus utilize a novel process of converting from the original signal vector in the time domain to allow the subject invention to be installed in-line with current MRI devices.
Abstract:
A platelet collection device comprising a centrifugal spin-separator container with a cavity having a longitudinal inner surface. A float in the cavity has a base, a platelet collection surface above the base, an outer surface. The float density is below the density of erythrocytes and above the density of plasma. The platelet collection surface has a position on the float which places it below the level of platelets when the float is suspended in separated blood. During centrifugation, a layer of platelets or buffy coat collects closely adjacent the platelet collection surface. Platelets are then removed from the platelet collection surface. Movement of a float having a density greater than whole blood through the sedimenting erythrocytes releases entrapped platelets, increasing the platelet yield.
Abstract:
A dispenser retains a plurality of elongated items such as tie wraps while permitting convenient, quick and easy access. The dispenser includes a housing that defines a chute. A strap attaches to the housing to enclose the chute and, in turn, retain the items. During removal of items, a holding tension is maintained on the remaining items. After emptying, the dispenser can be refilled and used repeatedly. A ball joint couples a mounting feature to the housing so that the dispenser can be mounted at a desirable location and adjusted to a desirable dispensing position.
