摘要： A heat exchanger support structure has a heat exchanger, a heat exchanger support supporting the heat exchanger, and motor fan units. The heat exchanger support is integrally formed with motor fan shroud portions allowing the air flow caused by motor fans. Electric motors driving the fans are respectively surrounded by a cylindrical shroud member, which has stays received in holding portions formed on the shroud portion with an elastic member interposed between the stay and the holding portion. This results in that the shroud member, the motor fan unit, and the elastic member function as a dynamic damper.

The two-sided color image forming apparatus further includes: a second transfer device for transferring the toner image formed by the second color image forming unit onto one side of the recording sheet through the belt-shaped intermediate transfer body; and a first transfer device for transferring directly a toner image formed by the first color image forming unit onto the other side of the recording sheet, wherein each of color image formation orders for plural color toners formed respectively by the first and second color image forming units is completely reversed to each other.

摘要： In a color image forming apparatus provided with a photoreceptor having a rotatable peripheral surface; plural sets of a charging device, an imagewise exposure device, and a developing device, each set of the plural sets is provided separately from other sets around the peripheral surface of the photoreceptor so that plural color component images are formed one after another by the plural sets and are superimposed so as to form a color image on the peripheral surface during a single rotation of the peripheral surface. The developing device has a casing and the imagewise exposure device and the developing device of each set are arranged such that a portion on the peripheral surface locating at an imagewise exposing position moves into the casing of the developing device before the electric potential V1 of the portion is lowered to the half of V1 (V1/2). A pre-transfer exposing device/transfer device and pre-cleaning exposing device/cleaning device all operate such that the potential on the photoreceptor moves into the casings of the transfer device or cleaning device before the potential is lowered to half its value.

摘要： An apparatus for forming a toner image on a sheet, comprises first and second process units each comprising a photoreceptor, a charging device, an imagewise exposing device, and a developing device. The first process unit forms a first toner image on its photoreceptor and the second process unit forms a second toner image on its photoreceptor. A rotatable intermediate transfer member has a toner image receiving surface, and the first and second process units are located in close proximity to the toner image receiving surface of the rotatable intermediate transfer member. A second transfer device transfers the second toner image from the second process unit to the toner image receiving surface. A sheet feeder feeds the sheet to the toner image receiving surface so that the second side of the sheet is provided with the second toner image; and a first transfer device transfers the first toner image from the first process unit to the first side of the sheet on the toner image receiving surface.

摘要： An image forming apparatus has an image forming body which is rotatable in a subsidiary scanning direction. A plurality of imagewise exposure devices for imagewise exposing the image forming body are arranged to face the image forming body and to be aligned in a straight line in a primary scanning direction perpendicular to the subsidiary scanning direction of the image forming body. A common supporting member is provided for supporting the plurality of exposure devices, and bearing members are provided on first and second ends of the common supporting member. The plurality of exposure devices are: (i) radially arranged on the common supporting member with respect to a rotation axis of the image forming body, and (ii) fixed on the supporting member with respect to the bearing members, and the image forming body is rotatable against the common supporting member through the bearing members.
