摘要： This invention provides an isolated nucleic acid molecule (SEQ ID NO:1) encoding a human 9-cis-retinol dehydrogenase. Also provided is a 9-cis-retinol dehydrogenase encoded by the isolated nucleic acid molecule, wherein the 9-cis-retinol dehydrogenase comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ. ID NO: 2. This invention also provides isolated nucleic acid molecules comprising the nucleotide sequence shown in any of SEQ. ID NOS: 6, 7, and 8 encoding mouse 9-cis-retinol dehydrogenases.
