    摘要： A digital video production switcher processes a plurality of video signals in a production environment. The switcher includes a control panel for receiving operator inputs and switching unit for receiving video input signals and for providing video output signals. The switcher also includes a pair of tightly coupled, independent processors synchronized to the video frame rate: a control processor and a general purpose processor. The control processor controls the "live critical" production functions. The control processor provides control signals, in response to operator inputs, that program the switching unit to provide desired video output signals in real time. The general purpose processor runs an open architecture operating system and provides control signals, in response to operator inputs, that cause the switching unit to provide desired video output signals in real time.

    摘要： A plastic reclosable fastener with slider for opening and closing the reclosable fastener on plastic-film bags and the like is disclosed. The plastic reclosable fastener and slider include a provision for restraining the slider in closed position and thereby maintaining the male and female elements of the fastener in interlocking relation to avoid inadvertent opening of the elements of the fastener when the slider reaches the fully closed position at the end of its travel along the fastener. The ends of the flanges of the fastener that are created by the slider-restraining notch are provided with diverging structure to facilitate re-entry of the slider separator structure between the flanges when the slider is moved toward the opposite end of the fastener to open the male and female elements of the fastener.

    摘要： A hermetic refrigeration compressor has a two-stage oil pump in the vertically aligned crankshaft that is journaled in a combination thrust and radial bearing at the bottom of the crankshaft. The oil passes upward through an axial passage in the crankshaft and then outward through a radial passage which comprises the first stage of the pump. The oil then passes through a wide and shallow groove around most of the periphery of the crankshaft and is then returned through a second radial passage to another vertical passage offset from the axis of the crankshaft to move the oil upward to lubricate the various moving parts of the compressor.

    摘要： A plastic reclosable fastener or zipper with slider detent lock for locking the slider in closed position on plastic-film bags and the like is disclosed. The slider includes two spring-loaded detent elements located on opposite sides of the separator finger on the slider. When the slider is at any location other than the fully closed position at the end of the fastener, the spring-loaded detent elements ride against the outside surfaces of the flanges by which the separator finger opens the fastener. When the slider reaches the location at the end of the fastener where portions of the flanges have been removed to provide a notch, the spring-loaded detent elements spring inward against the sides of the separator finger. There they resist an attempt to move the slider in an opening direction because this requires that they be forced outward over the flanges of the zipper.

    摘要： A radial arm saw features light weight, portability and simplicity of construction. A standard supports a one-piece radial arm that comprises a pair of horizontal, vertically spaced cantilever rails rigidly joined at their outer ends by an integral connecting member. A sliding runner spans the rails and has vertically spaced bearing parts receiving corresponding rails. A vertical spindle on the runner is connected at its lower end to the top of a cage that receives a conventional portable circular saw, thereby suspending the saw unit beneath the rails and above the work surface. The spindle permits the cage to be rotated for either cross-cut or ripping operations, and the radial arm is adjustable in a horizontal plane by a special detent arrangement on the standard that allows the elevation of the saw unit to be varied in any selected radial position.
