    摘要: A method of obtaining an enantioenriched organic compound comprising the steps of: 1) generating from a starting racemic, non-enantiopure or achiral compound a first mixture comprising at least one fluorous-tagged compound and at least one other non-fluorous tagged compound, at least one of these two compounds being enantioenriched relative to the starting compound; 2) contacting a first non-fluorous phase including the first mixture with a fluorous phase at a first phase interface, the fluorous-tagged compound distributing between the first non-fluorous phase and the fluorous phase; and 3) contacting the fluorous phase with a second non-fluorous phase at a second phase interface. The method further includes the step of having a third compound in the second non-fluorous phase that reacts with the fluorous-tagged compound to produce a second compound and the step of generating the first mixture by chemical or enzymatic kinetic resolution of a racemic or non-enantiopure compound.

    摘要: A portable toilet is provided comprising a bowl provided with an outlet and at least one spout. A flush tank is adapted to store a fluid, wherein the flush tank is adapted to be pressurized. A manually-actuated pump is in sealed communication with the flush tank, wherein the pump is adapted to cause the flush tank to become pressurized. A pressure relief valve adapted to release pressure from the flush tank. A manually-actuated flush valve is in sealed communication with the flush tank and is normally biased to a closed position. The flush valve includes a fluid outlet connected to the at least one spout and a fluid inlet. A flush valve actuator is disposed outside of the flush tank and is adapted to actuate the flush valve, wherein actuation of the flush valve actuator causes the flush valve to open to permit pressurized fluid contained within the flush tank to be delivered through the at least one spout.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for event detection. One embodiment includes an interface that acquires logs, and a controller that is able to identify events recited in the logs, to include the events within a list sorted based on at least one of start times or end times indicated by the timing data, and to determine a longest duration of the events. The controller receives a requested time, calculates a prior time separated by the longest duration from the requested time, and processes the list by: identifying a first index of the list for a first event in time having a start time on or after the prior time, and identifying a last index of the list for a last event in time having a start time on or before the requested time. The controller generates a set of events bounded by the first index and the last index.
