摘要: A length of metallic lead from having anode terminals and cathode terminals integrally formed with each other extends between upper and lower molds of an apparatus for manufacturing tantalum solid electrolytic capacitors. The cathode terminals are first coated with a thermosetting conductive adhesive, and cathode layers of capacitor elements are then placed on the conductive adhesive. Thereafter, anode leads extending outwardly from the capacitor elements are placed on the anode terminals are joined thereto, respectively, by welding. A pressure is applied to the capacitor elements so that a portion of the conductive adhesive is squeezed out from one surface of each of the plurality of capacitor elements to a neighboring side surface thereof The cathode terminals are then joined to the capacitor elements, respectively, by heat-curing the conductive adhesive, and the capacitor elements are finally covered with a sheathing resin.

摘要: A method and apparatus for measuring the orientation of the constituents of sheets are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of inserting a sheet into a small clearance with which the openings in a pair of waveguides are opposed to each other to form a cavity resonator, producing a relative motion at a constant speed between the sheet and the resonator while emitting linearly polarized microwaves from the upper waveguide to allow them to fall on the sheet at right angles thereto, measuring the amount of attenuation of the microwaves by the lower waveguide, and determining the orientation of the constituent of the sheet from that angle of the sheet with respect to the plane of polarization of the microwaves which gives the maximum attenuation.

摘要: In order to efficiently obtain data for calculating retardation values at a plurality of wavelengths, a sample having birefringence is placed between a polarizer and an analyzer, which are maintained in a parallel nicol relation to each other and rotated about an optical axis of measuring light. White measuring light is applied through the polarizer so that the light being passed through the sample and transmitted through the analyzer is received by a polychromator. A one-dimensional optical sensor is arranged on an outgoing imaging surface of the polychromator, to simultaneously detect transmitted light intensity values of a plurality of wavelengths. Since transmitted light intensity values of a plurality of wavelengths are obtained every polarization rotation angle of the polarizer and the analyzer, it is possible to obtain dispersion of retardation values with respect to wavelengths and the like by processing the data.
