An end portion 551 of a mating member 55 is fitted onto or inserted into the diameter-enlarged end portion, so that the end portion 551 engages the outer circumference of the sealing member in a fluid-tight condition. Upon insertion or fitting of the end portion of the mating member, a second engagement portion 552 projecting radially outward from the outer circumferential surface of the end portion 551 of the mating member 55 engages arm portions 272 of the connection member.

    摘要: It is unnecessary to carry out the grinding process for improving the accuracy in the inner surface configurations, dimensions and the like of the hoses around the portion to be connected to a mating member. Further, the flashes, resulting from the material leakage, are inhibited from producing during the injection molding of a connecting portion following the blow molding of a hose body. Accordingly, it is possible to obviate the deflashing and finishing process and to prevent the material shrinkage from occurring. After forming a hose body 12 with a thermoplastic resin by blow molding, the hose body 12 is set in an injection molding mold 20 including an inner mold 24 and an outer mold 22, and the inner mold 24 is adhered to the opening portion of the hose body 12 by sealing means 28, 30, 40 or 42 in a fluid-proof manner. In this state, a material is injected into a cavity 26 neighboring around the opening portion, thereby forming a connecting portion to be connected to a mating member in the resulting hose and integrating it with the hose body 12.

    摘要: A hose connecting structure includes a hose whose central and engaging portion having a thermal flexibility resin which is molded by a blow molding method and a mating member which is inserted into the edge opening of the hose. The hose connecting structure further includes a ring-shaped sealing material and a first engaging portion which is disposed in the axial direction by a predetermined distance to the sealing material at either the edge portion of the hose or the mating member and a second engaging portion which is directly or indirectly engaged with the first engaging portion at either the edge portion of the hose or the mating member. Since the central and the engaging portion of the hose connecting structure includes a thermal flexibility resin which is molded by a blow molding method, the most suitable soft and hard resin for the appropriate portion can be used. When the engaging portion with the mating member and the central portion are molded integrally, the working efficiency is improved. The sealing material such as an O-ring is used for the engaging surface. Therefore, soft resin is not used for the engaging surface, and a free selection of resin is achieved. Moreover, the polishing of the engaging surface is not required.

Therefore, when a mating pipe is inserted into the hose edge portion, the mating pipe is satisfactorily adhered to the inner surface of the hose edge portion, thereby obtaining excellent sealing.
