    Abstract: A rotary cutter head includes integral clamping members for releasably securing cutting blades in recesses formed in the cutter head. Each clamping member is formed with a free end portion which defines one side of the recess. An end of the clamping member located oppositely of the free end portion is integrally connected to the cutter head and defines a resilient hinge portion. The free end portion is resiliently biased by the integral hinge portion to a position which allows the blade to be slidably received in the recess. Threaded fasteners are operable to cause the free end portion to pivot about the hinge portion and to drive the free end portion toward an oppositely located side of the recess so as to clamp the blade in the recess.

    Abstract: A dispensing cap for a container includes an internally screw-threaded skirt adapted to be screwed onto the externally threaded neck of the container. A transverse wall extends across the upper end of the skirt and includes a discharge hole extending coaxially with a center axis of the skirt. An annular abutment surface extends coaxially with the axis and is spaced downwardly from the transverse wall for abutting against a container rim. A tubular wall extends downwardly from a bottom surface of the transverse wall coaxially with the center axis for defining a downward extension of the discharge hole. The tubular wall is spaced radially inwardly of the abutment surface, whereby an annular serum trap is formed completely around the tubular wall and above the abutment surface.

    Abstract: A portable grain moisture meter has a large 16 character digital display allowing an alphabetical list of grain selections to be selectably displayed in full text format and subsequently tested for moisture content with the test results also displayed on the same display. The meter also has provisions for calibrating the meter to a remotely located meter and has dual temperature transducers for achieving automatic grain temperature compensation by monitoring both the grain temperature along with the cell temperature.

    Abstract: A combine thresher has a multiple plate impedance cell grain moisture analyzer assembly with two of the plates being outside mounted ground plates to reduce EMI and RFI interference and provide more accurate moisture measurements. The assembly is ex-situ mounted to bypass a part of the grain flowing from the grain floor of the harvester to the grain accumulation bin to measure the moisture thereof and to exhaust same back into the mentioned grain flow. The analyzer has a bin full sensor to activate the bypass only when the analyzer is full for accurate moisture measurement.
