摘要: Method for determining a model upstream pressure (PTMC—mod) using a mathematical model in a motor vehicle brake system. An electrically controllable hydraulic valve (7a, 7b) control brake pressure on a wheel brake. Wheel sensors (10a, 10b) provide a vehicle speed signal. From the vehicle speed signal (vref) generating at least a first low pass filtered vehicle speed signal (Vref—fast, Vref—hard, Vref—soft) for using with a first limit frequency (fg1, fg2, fg3), from whose time profile the point in time (t1) of a significant decrease is detected, used for determining a time duration (Timer) starting with deceleration of the vehicle, which ends at the onset of regulation of the braking process. For the classification of the actuation speed of the brake pedal (16) the time duration (Timer) is compared with one or more threshold values (SW1, SW2). Depending on the comparison, determining a model upstream pressure (PTMC—mod) using the mathematical model.

摘要: A shoe including an upper, a lower attached to the upper, and an outsole attached to the lower is presented. In one embodiment, the outsole has a ground contacting surface which includes a first section and a second section, with the first section being formed of a first material and the second section having an outer later formed of a fabric material. The first section is free of the fabric material and is instead formed of other suitable materials, such as rubber, leather, etc. The outsoles and uppers are configured so that they can easily be mixed and matched with one another for assembly of the shoe at time after each of the individual components is separately made.

摘要: A polymer fluid flow component configured to sealingly couple with a second fluid flow component, the fluid flow component having a protruding portion and a receiving portion configured to receive the protruding portion. The fluid flow component can include a stop surface disposed on the protruding portion and a cooperating stop surface on the receiving portion to cooperate with the stop surface. The fluid flow component can further include an annular ring integrally formed with the valve, such that the annular ring is subjected to a compressive force when the receiving portion receives the protruding section sealingly coupling the valve and second component. The stop surface can engage the cooperating stop surface to inhibit overtightening of the valve.

摘要: A cutting device for cutting an object (i.e., pipes or tubing), the device comprising a first cutting member and a second securing member pivotally coupled together. The first cutting member generally includes a handle portion and a blade portion extending away from the handle portion, the blade portion having at least one blade edge for cutting a portion of the object, and being moveable along a cutting path. The second securing member can include a handle portion and a cradle portion. Additionally, the device can comprise a positioning or nesting element connected to the second securing member proximate the cradle portion, the positioning or nesting element being adapted to hold and securely position a tube or pipe object such that the longitudinal axis of the target object is aligned and secured generally transverse to the longitudinal axis of the securing member and the cutting path of the blade portion.

摘要: An article of apparel is convertible into a travel pillow and includes an elongated scarf having opposite end regions, a pair of open pockets at the end regions, and a pair of gloves receivable in one of the pockets when not worn on a wearer's hands. A hat is optionally receivable in the one pocket when not worn on the wearer's head. The scarf is foldable onto itself by being folded or rolled from the other of the pockets towards the one pocket to form folded scarf portions. The folded scarf portions are receivable in the one pocket, together with the gloves and optionally the hat, for joint compact storage, or for use as a travel pillow in which the folded scarf portions, the gloves, and optionally the hat, stuff and plump the pillow.
