Compositions comprising(a) a pyrrolopyrrole of formula I ##STR1## wherein A and B are identical or different alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or heterocyclic aromatic radicals, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are hydrogen atoms, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl radicals, and also alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, carbamoyl, alkylcarbamoyl, arylcarbamoyl, alkoxycarbonyl, aryl, alkanoyl or aroyl groups, and X is an --O-- or --S-- atom, and(b) a pyrrolopyrrole of the above formula I that contains at least one group of formula --SO.sub.3 L, --CO.sub.2 L, --PO.sub.3 (L).sub.2, --N(R.sub.4)(R.sub.5 ), ##STR2## oder --NHCOR wherein L is --H, a group of formula M.sub.n.sup.+n or N.sup.+ H(R.sub.3)(R.sub.4)(R.sub.5), M is a monovalent, divalent or trivalent metal cation, n is 1, 2 or 3, R.sub.3 R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each independently --H or alkyl, aralkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.6 cycloalkyl or aryl radicals, or R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic radical, q is an integer from 0 to 4, r is an integer from 3 to 5 and R is aryl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, are suitable for coloring high molecular organic material.

1-Hydroxy-4-heteroarylaminoanthraquinones of the formula ##STR1## wherein Q is for example one of the two groups of the formulae ##STR2## are most suitable for the mass coloration of polyester. New arylaminoanthraquinones of the formula ##STR1## in which one X denotes an aryloxy or arylmercapto group, the other X denote hydrogen atoms, one Y denotes a nitro group and the other Y denotes a hydrogen atom and W denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl, methoxy or trifluoromethyl group which are suitable for dyeing high-molecular organic compounds, especially for the bulk dyeing of linear polyesters.

A process for the mass coloration of thermoplastics with anthraquinonylaminotriazines of the formula ##STR1## wherein each of X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 is an alkylmercapto or arylmercapto group or a group of the formula --NR.sub.1 R.sub.2, in which each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl, and R.sub.2 can additionally be hydrogen, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached and optionally a further heteroatom form a 5- or 6-membered ring, one Y is a hydrogen or chlorine atom, a hydroxy, arylmercapto, alkanoylamino or aroylamino group, or a group of the formula ##STR2## and the other Ys are hydrogen atoms, Hal is a chlorine or bromine atom, and n is 0 or 1. A photoelectrophoretic imaging process, wherein a suspension of photosensitive pigment particles between two electrodes, at least one of which is transparent, is subjected to the influence of an electric field and exposed to an image, which process comprises using, as photosensitive pigment, a perylenetetracarboxylic acid diimide of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic radicals.The pigments used in this invention are distinguished by particularly good photoelectrophoretic sensitivity and low fog density.
