One or more control points 432-440 determines which network access point or points the user terminal is to access. Control may be retained in the current control point, or transferred to another control point, whenever it is convenient. There are preferably several routers, each having an associated home agent 418-420 which determines which foreign agents need to be accessed on behalf of each user terminal. There are several foreign agents 422-430, which forward packets received from a user terminal's home agent to the control point currently controlling communications with the user terminal.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for providing modified timestamps in a communication system. In an aspect, a method includes receiving one or more packets associated with a selected destination, computing an average relative delay associated with each packet, determining a modified timestamp associated with each packet based on the average relative delay associated with each packet, and outputting the one or more packets and their associated modified timestamps. In an aspect, an apparatus is provided for generating modified timestamps. The apparatus includes a packet receiver configured to receive one or more packets associated with a selected destination and processing logic configured to compute an average relative delay associated with each packet, determine a modified timestamp associated with each packet based on the average relative delay associated with each packet, and output the one or more packets and their associated modified timestamps.

    摘要: Disclosed are various implementations of a camera lens that can be positioned between a display device and a user viewing the display device. The camera lens can be transparent to allow such viewing by the user, and also be configured to capture light rays from the user and turn such rays to an imaging sensor to form an image of the user. Such turning of light rays can be achieved by curved features formed on the camera lens. In some implementations, the camera lens is a substantially flat layer having such curved features. Various examples of the curved features are disclosed. Also disclosed are systems and methods for enhancing the image of the user in situations where a portion of a display being viewed is captured by the camera lens and combines with the image of the user.
