摘要: The invention provides a light-emitting device which is capable of applying light to a display panel with uniformity in brightness and can be made lower in profile. A light-emitting device (11) includes an LED chip (111a), a base support (111b) which supports the LED chip (111a), and a lens (112) disposed in contact with the LED chip (111a) so as to cover the LED chip (111a) and the base support (111b). The lens (112) has first curved sections (1122) which reflect light that has reached a top surface (112a) so that the reflected light is emitted from a side surface (112b), and second curved sections (1123) which refract light that has reached the top surface (112a) to outside so that the refracted light is emitted from the top surface (112a).

摘要: A document transporting device (30) serves as a platen cover to expose and cover platens (21A,21B). A document holder (5) is mounted on a predetermined mounting portion of the device (30). A lateral end of the document holder (5) is withdrawn from a predetermined position where the end is located, so that a document transport path (R) is exposed through an area in which the document holder (5) has been withdrawn. The document transport path (R) is exposed to the left or the right with respect to the front of the device (30).

摘要: In a storage sub-system adopting a redundant configuration for preventing data loss and continuing processing during failure, when failure occurs, a controller unit in which failure has occurred is blocked so as not to affect the normal controller unit, so that the performance of the storage sub-system is deteriorated and the redundancy thereof is lost until maintenance and component replacement is performed. According to the present invention, self diagnosis of the blocked area is executed and a failure area is isolated. Then, the blocked area is reconnected to the storage sub-system, so as to prevent deterioration of performance and overload of the device until maintenance and replacement is performed, and to reduce the time of failure analysis during maintenance by specifying the detailed failure area via self diagnosis.

摘要: A signal conversion circuit 2 comprises a differential amplifier portion 10 and a source follower portion 20. When differential voltage signals INp and INn are input to a first input terminal 5 and second input terminal 6 respectively, operations occurs either in a mode in which only the differential amplifier portion 10 operates, or a mode in which both the differential amplifier portion 10 and the source follower portion 20 operate, or a mode in which only the source follower portion 20 operates, according to the levels of the differential voltage signals INp and INn. The differential amplifier portion 10 and source follower portion 20 have fewer components compared with a circuit comprising two differential amplifier circuits. By this means, the circuit area can be reduced, and in addition current consumption can be reduced. Also, because the source follower portion 20 performs non-inverting amplification of the differential voltage signals INp and INn, high-speed operation is possible.
