    摘要: A thin film formation apparatus includes a printing roll having an elastic letterpress of resin or rubber fitted at a part of a surface of a cylinder part and, an intaglio roll rotating while facing the printing roll, thereby transferring ink to a surface of the elastic letterpress through contact with the printing roll. The thin film formation apparatus further includes a pair of printing roll side contact bodies on a drum portion or a rotating shaft of the printing roll, and a pair of intaglio roll side contact bodies on a drum portion or a rotating shaft of the intaglio role. The printing roll side contact bodies and the intaglio roll side contact bodies continuously contact each other, at least before and during the contact of the elastic letterpress with the intaglio roll, to form a thin film of uniform film thickness.

    摘要: In a multicolor liquid crystal display device, when a color filter (1) is formed above or beneath an electrode (2) by the use of a printing process, the film thickness is not uniform with indentation produced, thereby constituting a cause of the non-uniformity of orientation treatment and a defect in electroconductivity of the electrode. In this invention, the color filter (1) is formed by the use of a printing process so that the printing parameter .alpha. expressed by the following equation [1] is not smaller than 20 and the overlapping between the neighboring color filters is within the range of .alpha./3.about.(.alpha.+30).mu.:.alpha.=T(.mu.)/tan.theta.     摘要: In a thin film forming apparatus, ink is supplied to the recess of a roll-shaped or plate-shaped intaglio (3, 23), the intaglio contacts a projection (4a, 24a) of a printing roll (4, 24), the ink held in the recess of the intaglio is transferred to the projection, the projection of the printing roll contacts a material to be printed (10, 30), and the ink is transferred to the surface of the material. Thus, a thin film is formed. The apparatus has a moving device (16, 7, 65, 36, 39) for moving the roll-shaped or plate-shaped intaglio. After the thin film is formed on the material by the initial printing, the intaglio is moved by a predetermined distance in the direction of the rotary shaft thereof or the direction perpendicular to the direction of the rotary shaft. Then, a thin film smooth on the surface thereof and clear in a pattern edge is formed on the material by a second time printing.

    摘要: The color filter of this invention comprises a transparent substrate, a porous activated film layer formed on the substrate and made of activated alumina or activated silica or a mixture thereof, a colored area or a pattern formed by the dye fixed in the minute pores of the activated film layer, and a coating layer sealingly closing the upper portions of the minute pores of said activated film layer. This color filter is relatively simple and easy to manufacture, superior in resistivity to heat, water, chemicals, solvents, etc. and suitable for use as a color filter in various display devices, particularly liquid crystal display devices.
