A lens device includes: a lens barrel body having holes; guide bars supported by the lens barrel body and one ends of the guide bars are inserted in the holes; lens holding frames supported so as to be movable along the guide bars and are engaged with the guide bars; and pressing members that press the one ends of the guide bars in a direction perpendicular to the guide bars and are inserted in the holes. The pressing members have a falling-off prevention engagement protrusion engaged with the lens barrel body.

An arrangement structure for a fuel cell system in a vehicle including a fuel cell box which holds a fuel cell, a sub-frame which holds a fuel gas tank, and a fuel gas dilution box. The sub-frame is placed so as to be aligned with the fuel cell box, and the fuel gas dilution box is disposed between the fuel cell and the sub-frame.

A coil assembly for reducing variations in characteristic impedance includes a winding section having a first surface and a second surface on the opposite side of the winding section from the first surface, a plurality of first protrusions provided on the first surface, and a plurality of second protrusions provided on the second surface. These protrusions are identical in shape to each other and are arrayed linearly on their respective surfaces so that the first protrusions are offset from the second protrusions. Two conducting wires are wound between neighboring protrusions such that one wire contacts one of the neighboring protrusions, while the other wire contacts the other neighboring protrusion.

The invention is a magnetic recording medium which is effectively protected against forgery by the alteration of recorded data, and a method for carrying out writing and reading on this magnetic recording medium. The magnetic recording medium of the invention comprises a recording material composed of a crystalline alloy containing Fe and Al . In the recoding material, the total amount of Fe and Al is at least 90 at % and the atomic ratio Al/(Fe+Al) ranges from 0.30 to 0.45. The recording material changes from a disordered phase to an ordered phase by heating. The recording material has a saturation magnetization of at least 45 emu/g prior to heating and lowers its saturation magnetization by at least 35 emu/g upon heating. Dark regions are observable in a bright-field image of the recording material by transmission electron microscopy, the dark regions accounting for 15-60% of the recording material in areal ratio and having a maximum breadth of 10-200 nm.

When an accelerator drum of a throttle valve control apparatus is turned in a valve opening direction to open a throttle valve, an electric motor is energized to turn a rotatable shaft thereof through a predetermined angle, causing a valve shaft to turn the throttle valve in the valve opening direction. The angular movement of the throttle valve is transmitted from a valve shaft lever through a link to an intermediate lever, whose first engaging finger is angularly moved in the valve opening direction relatively to a second engaging finger of the accelerator drum. The throttle valve control apparatus allows the throttle valve to be controlled with an accelerator pedal and the electric motor. The throttle valve control apparatus is relatively simple in structure, can be designed with increased layout freedom, and can perform both a fail-safe function and a limping-home function.

In order to prevent a noise from being generated by the contact of a fixed meshing gear and an elevation meshing gear when a level of a steering wheel is adjusted, a fixed gear is fixed to an outer surface of a vertical plate of the fixed bracket, a lock plate is held by a hold member provided at a base of a leaf spring, and the engagement of the meshing gears is disengaged by a leg provided in the leaf spring. An inner surface of the vertical plate is always elastically urged toward the outer surface of the elevation bracket.

The present invention provides a car navigation system and a car navigation device that can easily set a destination without complicated operation. The navigation device can load a memory card that records multiple image files taken by an image taking device with GPS function. All thumbnail image data in the header of the image file, which is recorded in the memory card loaded in the navigation device, is read to display a list of thumbnail images represented by the thumbnail image data. If any of the displayed thumbnail images is selected according to the operation of the cross key, GPS data corresponding to the selected thumbnail image is read to display a position represented by GPS data.

An optical transmitter receiver module and an apparatus incorporating the same module are provided, which realizes the reduction of power consumption and the enlargement of the operating temperature range. As an example, an optical transmitter module is provided which comprises a light emitting element to generate a light signal, a signal processing circuit to transmit an electrical signal to the light emitting element and a voltage regulating circuit to lower a power voltage so as to supply the signal processing circuit with a constant voltage, wherein the module is further provided with a current regulating circuit to shunt a part of a current to be supplied into the voltage regulating circuit from a power source so as to generate a control current and a temperature controller to receive the control current so as to control a temperature of the light emitting element, wherein the module is further provided with a temperature detector to detect the temperature of the light emitting element and a temperature controlling circuit to control the control current according to an electrical signal output by the temperature detector.
