摘要: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration defines the four separate components of Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD) to be decreased sexual desire, decreased sexual arousal, dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), and persistent difficulty in achieving or inability to achieve orgasm (anorgasmia). To establish a diagnosis of FSD, these components must be associated with personal distress, as determined by the affected woman. A topical combination of menthol/L-arginine and the specific 5-PDE inhibitor vardenafil can be used to treat any of the defined components, or a combination of two or more of the defined components of FSD, as a safe, first-line therapy for FSD.

摘要: A system for providing guidance information to a driver of a vehicle. In one implementation, the system includes an image capture device and an object sensor attached to the vehicle. The image capture device acquires an image of the vicinity of the vehicle. The object sensor is configured to detect an object near the vehicle. A processing unit processes the acquired image from the image capture device to produce an output image. The processing of the acquired image is based on information obtained from the object sensor. An image display unit is connected to the processing unit and displays the output image produced by the central processing unit.

摘要: The present invention is an apparatus for curing an article that is passing through the apparatus, wherein the article is being cured by ultraviolet radiation curing. The present invention most commonly applies to the field of fiber optics, and the manufacture of optical fibers and fiber optic cables or ribbons. The present invention comprises a hollow tubular UV light emitting device (bulb) and a UV transparent tube where the bulb is disposed around the tube creating a space between the tube and the bulb. The article to be cured passes through the center of the tube along with an inert gas, where the inert gas is either cooled or heated depending on the application of the apparatus. A UV transparent cooling medium is passed through the space between the tube and the bulb to provide cooling for the apparatus, preventing heat damage from the bulb. Shielding coatings are employed on either the surface of the tube or the inner surface of the bulb to prevent harmful and unwanted radiation from the bulb from reaching the article to be cured. Further, a dichroic reflector is employed outside of the bulb to reflect UV radiation back into the bulb while allowing other radiation emitted by the bulb to escape, while the exterior of the bulb is being cooled by an additional cooling medium passing over the exterior of the bulb. The present invention greatly improves temperature control and operational efficiency of the UV curing process over prior art devices.

摘要: A system and a method for curing a coating applied to an optical fiber or optical fiber ribbon using a laser curing device which emits a plurality of laser beams, having a predetermined wavelength or wavelength range, that impinge on the fiber or ribbon at differing angles to provide a uniform cure. The system includes at least one laser for outputting a laser beam; a splitter for splitting the laser beam into a plurality of output beams; and reflector arrangement for reflecting the output beams such that the output beams are irradiated on the coating of the optical fiber from different angles. The reflector comprises a plurality of mirrors or, alternatively, a housing, which substantially surrounds the optical fiber where at least a portion of an inner surface of the housing is reflective. Alternatively, the reflector may be replaced with a bundle of UV-waveguides directing portions of the beam to the substrate at different angles and/or directions. The system may also include a second laser for outputting a second laser beam which impinges on the fiber, where the wavelength range of the second laser is in a range that is different from the wavelength range of the first laser.
