摘要: Sound attenuation devices are provided that may be temporarily worn in a person's ear. The devices generally include a first flange that is configured to be disposed in a person's ear; a second flange that is positioned proximate to the first flange and is also configured to be disposed in the person's ear (with the second flange having a proximate end that exhibits an oblong perimeter); and a cylindrical shaft extending from an interior portion of the second flange. The shaft includes an integrally connected pull tab; it extends beyond the proximate end of the second flange; and the shaft includes an integrally formed reinforcing member that spans an exterior side of the shaft and at least a portion of the pull tab. The devices further include a sound filter disposed within an internal cavity of the shaft.

The method includes providing a golf ball which includes a radiation source of a particular radiation type that is continuously emanating radiation, providing a radiation sensor capable of discerning and sensing the emanated radiation and providing an electronic signal corresponding to the sensed radiation indicative of radiation intensity, continuously mapping location of the radiation sensor by generating location coordinates, correlating the electronic signal to the location coordinates generating a correlation data, and determining location of the golf ball from the correlation data.

摘要: A system for converting a paddleboard into a gigging vessel includes a standard stand-up paddleboard outfitted with a conversion system. The conversion system includes a pair of opposing pontoons, a pair of opposing guards each adjacent to one pontoon, and retaining arms and retaining straps for securing pontoons and guards to the stand-up paddleboard. The system includes a pair of wheels that can be lowered for transportation across land, and raised for use in aquatic environments; lights; and a storage compartment for items and captured fish. In one embodiment the pontoons and guards can be folded up for transportation.

摘要: A lighting system for a snow plow is provided. The lighting system has a plurality of lights positioned on numerous light strips. The lighting system may have a first lighting strip and a second lighting strip. While the first lighting strip may be stationary, the second lighting strip may have a first unit and a second unit wherein the first unit remains stationary and wherein the second unit moves with respect to the first unit so as to allow the user to properly direct the light emitted from the second light strip. The lighting strips are slightly flexible so as to allow installment on any curved surfaces of the snow plow and may have a plurality of arched-shaped or wedged-shaped grooves which may be used in any combination at the same time in the system and which act as creases for bending the strips.

摘要: A notification system comprises a plurality of claim checks and a plurality of communication device identifiers. The notification system further comprises a messaging module that is configured to receive an electronic notification of an event. The messaging module is further configured to associate at least one of the claim checks and one of the communication device identifiers with the event. The messaging module is also configured to generate a message that contains the associated claim check and transmit the message to a communications device identified by the communication device identifier. In one embodiment, the notification system further comprises a retrieval module that is responsive to a request to access the event. In another embodiment, the messaging module is configured to receive an electronic notification of a second event and associate the claim check and another communication device identifier with the message.

摘要: When a software component is starting (305), such as but not limited to a task or a subtask, the component pushes (310) its identification (ID) onto a stack. The component then executes (315) its other instructions. If the component completes its instructions so that it can terminate normally (320), then it pops (325) the stack, which removes its ID from the stack. If the component fails, such as by not being able to complete its instructions, then it will not be able to pop the stack so its ID will remain in the stack. Another software process can then read the IDs in the stack to identify (330) which components have failed and can automatically take a specified action (335), such as by sending an email message to, sending a text message to, or calling by telephone, a person or persons responsible for that software component.

摘要: A computer-readable medium, computer-implemented method, and system are provided for filtering of custom attributes. A custom attribute is an attribute of an object defined by a user. Once a user has defined one or more custom attributes, the user can filter a set of objects based on a criteria that includes a value for one or more custom attributes. The filtering can be dynamic so that when the set of objects is modified (such as creating a new object, deleting an existing object, or modifying an existing object), the filter is automatically updated. Furthermore, a filtering criteria can be based on the set of objects present in the system, so that any filter that is defined returns at least one object. In addition, once a filter is applied, any additional filter applied to the original filter can have a filtering criteria based on the subset of objects returned by the original filter.
