The invention relates to a method for correcting variations of parameters of components of active magnetic bearing and/or assembly of active magnetic bearing as a whole. At the latest before starting to operate the active magnetic bearing are detected mechanical and/or electrical and/or installation variations and/or other variations of parameters of at least one component of the active magnetic bearing and/or of the whole active magnetic bearing assembly, whereupon the detected variations and/or correction values based on the variations are recorded in memory (M), which is an integral part of the active magnetic bearing assembly, and subsequently these variations and/or correction values are used from the memory (M) for adjustment of system for detecting position of the rotating working means in the active magnetic bearing during operation of the active magnetic bearing. The invention further relates to an active magnetic bearing for bearing a rotating working means which comprises in the basic body placed means of creating a magnetic field, in which the rotating working means is arranged and which further comprises sensors of position of the rotating working means, whereby, with each said sensor of position are aligned detector of its output signal and evaluation circuits. In the active magnetic bearing assembly there is arranged a memory (M), in which are stored values of production and/or electrical and/or installation variations of at least one component of the active magnetic bearing and/or variations of the whole active magnetic bearing assembly and/or in the memory (M) are stored correction values formed from said variations, whereby the memory (M), the control system and/or the detectors (D) of the output signal of the sensors (A) of the position and/or the evaluation circuits are interconnected or interconnectable.

The run of spinning units is controlled by two busses, a two-way bus, and a reserve one-way bus, the latter being activated, as a rule, by a central electronic system, and possibly, though less often, by the operator. A suitable arrangement of the circuits on the criterion of whether they belong to the two-way bus or to the one-way one, facilitates troubleshooting and permits shorter repair time on vast systems comprising a plurality of work stations of the textile machine.The invention can be used on various types of spinning machines where a predetermined length of wound yarn is required.

A spinning unit and method for detecting changes of position of a shaftless spinning rotor (1) of an open-end spinning machine in a cavity of an active magnetic bearing, in which the position of the spinning rotor (1) is detected by a system of sensors (A, B) and on basis of the detected changes in the position of the spinning rotor (1) is adjusted controlling of the active magnetic bearing in order to eliminate undesirable changes in the position of the spinning rotor (1) in the cavity of the active magnetic bearing. Continuously is detected radial shifting of the spinning rotor (1) and simultaneously is continuously detected inclination of the spinning rotor (1), whereupon according to the detected changes in the position of the spinning rotor (1) is determined shifting and/or inclination of the spinning rotor (1) which is used for subsequent adjustment of the controlling of position of the spinning rotor (1) in the active magnetic bearing, wherein both radial shifting and inclination of the spinning rotor are each detected by at least two pairs of sensors of the distance of monitored surface of the spinning rotor, the pairs of sensors for detecting radial shifting of the spinning rotor detect changes of distances of the cylindrical wall of the spinning rotor from the sensors. The sensors (A, B) of the position of the spinning rotor (1) are grouped into pairs, whereby two pairs of sensors (A1, A2) for detecting of radial shifting of the spinning rotor (1) are arranged on the opposite sides of the spinning rotor (1) against the cylindrical wall (10) of the spinning rotor (1) and at the same time another two pairs of sensors (B1, B2) for detecting of inclination of the spinning rotor (1) are arranged on the opposite sides of the spinning rotor (1) against the wall (11) of the spinning rotor (1), which is perpendicular to the rotation axis (OA) of the spinning rotor (1).

A process of automatic yarn spinning-in in the spinning unit of an open-end rotor spinning machine of an automatic service device provided with a control unit having a programmable microprocessor control system for controlling the spinning-in cycle and the automatic adjustment of spinning-in parameters modified according to successive verifying tests which are performed by the automatic service device which is either arranged in the individual spinning units, or as a unit traveling along the machine. By successive tests, spinning-in parameters are adjusted for an interval for yarn return to the spinning rotor as well as for determining the start of fiber feeding. The spinning-in parameters can be corrected by further verifying tests in spinning units with various dynamic characteristics.

The invention relates to a method of and a system for controlling the operation of open-end spinning machines comprising a plurality of spinning units, which method is based upon a permanent cyclic communication of a central unit of the system with the individual spinning units. According to the invention, at a given instant, a single spinning unit only is connected to the central unit of the control system, said central unit being supplied with information data about the condition of the spinning unit connected thereto while said central unit simultaneously transmits instructions for said spinning unit, the other spinning units operating automatically on the basis of the stored instruction the validity of which lasts for the time of one control cycle.
